They will need to feel validated by making you lust after them. So giving attention to a girl in her group that is not as pretty and shutting down the pretty one will get under her skin. Why would they look to change the dynamic of your relationship if they get what they need from you in that way and they can still see other people. 1	Tips on approaching girls at college parties? Be confident, have something to talk about, be polite and non aggressive. If met with aggression from "Alpha" style men. Meet it with light humour. Be someone the girls want to be around. Also include the whole group of people, make the one you want fight for your attention. 1	How can I (or guys like me) get better with girls/women ? Step One, Be yourself, be happy by yourself. Be a version of yourself that makes them want to be around you. If you dont wanna be around you why would anyone else? Step Two, Dont rush things with them but grab their attention, be spontaneous, be fun. Step Three, Be in the moment, dont be thinking about the girl three tables down with the nice ass, think and focus on the girl accross from you.
