They're too polite to want to make you think they don't like you, but not honest enough to just be straight forward

Here's what I got from that: 1) Set up a time and place for us to meet. Best if we meet at my place, then go somewhere from there. 2) Take her to a few of my favorite spots. Doesn't matter if she's been before (right?) they're my favorite spots and we're going there. 3) Kino. 4) Let it be. Let things go however they go.

The two times this has happened to me, this is what I did, and the same thing happened. They both told me after that they just wanted to make sure I wasn't using them for sex.

I'm really glad to see the comments agreeing that this is some of the creepiest, weirdest shit ever. Please, don't do this.

I work as a tour guide. I talk a lot every day. Over the last few months, my family has noticed the tone of my voice has dropped significantly. Here's what I've learned: 1) speak from your chest Thus is A-number-one-most-important. Touch your chest and find where your ribs separate below your sternum. Speak from there. Breathe deep, speak from there. 2) relax your throat Pay attention to how your throat is feeling when you speak. Is it tight? Do you strain when you speak up? Practice letting you…

Go say hi is so difficult but so true. To help you, use this trick: pretend you're already good friends, and talk to them like you've known them for forever. Works great and alleviates the awkward "what do I say" anxiety. What would you say to a good friend? Just talk to them like you already know them.

I just posted to r/relationships about my situation right now here. I'm having a tough time right now, lots of stuff going on at once and I feel pretty crappy. Any suggestions?

That's exactly what I did. It's just the easiest way to give somebody your number once you have theirs. Edit: Plus, I don't think there's anything wrong with making sure you typed the number in right. I do this with normal friends I make. Works and I've never had anybody get weird about it.

I like that better, warm approach is a good term. Thanks! I'm going to call her today or tomorrow to set up a date.

I have a question about signals: If someone tells you not to forget their name in a retail store, after you had a conversation about forgetting the manager's name, is that a signal, or just friendly banter?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
