I agree and would add that at my age , 23, unless he's been chronically unemployed, it's not an issue.

yeah. i think there is a crisis of masculinity in the US but i think it has far more to do with the fact that the middle class is floundering economically, and both parents have to go to work at least 40 hours to support any children. but i also am somewhat hesitant to call it a crisis....like, eesh

That's funny. Women want to be with a man who's clear, confident, knows what he wants and is willing to fail. Not to get some rapey language thrown at them

Yas you'll also want to figure out what grooming regime works best for you: hair style, glasses, fashion, skin care, facial hair, etc And then figure out what your approach to life is. And make it clear. Gotta stand for yerself. But no sense in comparing yourself uselessly to your buds. It sounds like you make do pretty damn well, maybe as good as them--and if not, that's ok too

Excellent post. Regarding finding the alpha and beta in every situation--I was friends and roommates with a guy in college that tried to do this and failed, hard. Seduction wise he had a pretty upwards trajectory and then he came close to actually going crazy (never institutionalized but he really needed extensive help in my opinion)--though as an overall, abstract, fluid concept, I think it's a good or

Fa sho. I've gone out a few times to parties sober in the past week and I've done okay but there will definitely be a learning curve hahah

Nah, not at all. But I'm strongly considering it and until I see a pretty good reason to, I won't. This morning it was a week since my last drink, longest time in a while.

I'm kind of worried about this for the time being, because I haven't drank in the past week and am looking to extend that forth. I still enjoy going out, and I'll probably still go to bars. I'm somewhat anxious, though, about it, because I tend to overthink/be socially anxious without alcohol--kind of why I'm quitting. Good luck!

Well, i dont know. I shaved my head this past week after having grown it out for two years to support my aunt and uncle who lost a kid to cancer a few years ago. So if she doesn't value that.....okay.

in b4 oneitis allegation actually though, i think seduction is, at its heart, the art of becoming intimate with people--and it's clearly done well here

I don't think it necessarily has much to do with making money. His example of sailing necessarily does, but could be expanded to include hobbies like fitness, hiking, fishing, hunting, rock climbing, following or playing sports, traveling, urban exploration, gardening, etc. basically any activity that is not by necessity solitary (like reading or making art). A lot cost money, a lot don't, and within every activity there's a huge gradient too. I'm poor as fuck (but happy) and I see this apply ve…

Word--I still bone one of my exes every time she's in town, and I'm going to visit another at her school in the next couple months. Chances are, if you're on bad terms with ALL exes, you're fuckin up.

As in her and I are not blood related--my uncle and I are.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
