Rape in the military is a huge problem. In 2010, over 19,000 women in the military were raped by their fellow soldiers, yet very few cases get taken to court and almost no men face punishment for their crime. This is a very sad news story.

It looks like mostly personal assistants and carer jobs, which have historically been some of the only options available to women, as it's been seen as the only kind of work women are capable of. How many of these people looking for female personal assistants are doing it for lecherous reasons? This seems more sexist towards women, honestly.

Women who go into prostitution are perhaps not what you are probably referring to when you say "respectable." They are children, runaways, addicts, homeless, desperate, manipulated, coerced, etc. A woman can be arrested for being a prostitute, of course, even if she's searching for help. It's illegal. If you admit to illegal activity you can be arrested.

So, your evidence is things that you guessed about how prostitution works? That doesn't really hold up. Many women in prostitution fear the police, as there is no guarantee that they won't be arrested themselves, and feel they have no resources available to help them leave.

I agree. "Real" men do go to prostitutes, enact violence, and sexually assault. That much is obvious. However, good men do not.

Very few women choose prostitution. The vast majority of prostituted women do it for survival or are forced into it, and do experience incredible amounts of abuse.

Actually, prostitution is largely not a choice. The average age that a woman enters prostitution is between 12 and 14 (aka children), and it's generally due to coercion and abuse, which they continue to experience throughout their life. According to studies, at least 92% of women in prostitution would prefer to quit, but felt they could not because of threats of violence and lack of resources. And that's not even getting into the morality of turning a body into a purchasable commodity.
