I cannot express how much I hate social media and the rediculous abundance of porn that just radiates from the internet. It makes me so angry. I’m a way I do feel an ounce of empathy for him, porn is everywhere, only fans girls are everywhere and it’s so widely accepted - especially online. Even young kids are exposed to hardcore pornography and trying to keep your own kids away from it doesn’t mean they aren’t shown it in school by other kids. The issues with it are off the damn charts and soci…

This was towards his own child? There’s nothing you can do. You could talk to your sister in law about how your worried that kind of language might give her self confidence issues in the future but other than that you can’t do much. Also doing that might alienate her from you a bit as she’s likely to take his side You can’t parent other people’s children for them

Call 101 (the non emergancy crime number for those not in the UK) cos he called the toddler fat? They wouldn’t do anything There might be a reason he doesn’t pick the babies up, he could have hurt his back or something. It was rude AF but not a crime.

I don’t think so, my partner likes it, we usually ask who’s going to be “the little one” which is who’s going to be the little spoon, or the one in (I guess) the more “submissive” position. It’s very intimate and they put a lot of guard down being with a woman in that way, I don’t think it’s effeminate or emasculating I just think it’s very private and intimate

Okay so I’m able to write a full response My short answer is no It sounds like you have very little respect for this man and your treating him more like a resource than you are a potential partner. You are still sleeping with other men which is very disrespectful towards a man that your considering such a serious relationship with, you speak of people who have arranged marriages falling for someone over time but you arnt from a culture where that’s the norm and I think it’s unwise to rely on tho…

It’s like learning a new skill, you will get there. The first part is being able to recognise when you find yourself entering that headspace and the second is going to be working on managing that feeling. You already know it’s a problem so you’ve started on the right path 💕

I mean this in the nicest way possible, he’s literally telling you what he doesn’t like and your not listening When your mad or anxious your giving a knee jerk reaction by blowing up his phone hand airing all your dirty laundry out. When you feel that rush of anxiety stop. Do not message him. Go for a walk, do some exercise, write in a diary, record a voice note then delete it. It’s not that you can’t talk to him about what upsets you but that you can’t do it when you’re in that heightened emoti…

The promise of a future. I mean ultimately no, nothing is guaranteed but when I met my partner for the first time I felt like I could see the future, him as my husband, our own little family, Christmas together, building our own home, what we’ll do when we retire It’s so exciting, it fills me with motivation

You might end up having to impolitely and in no uncertain terms tell him to eff off I had a guy like this at my last place of work, I told my man I felt uncomfortable that this guy wouldn’t leave me alone but I could not get him to back off. My boyfriend said he didn’t trust him and that he was worried about what this guy would do. He invited me on a work night out and I went thinking others would be there (they wernt) and sat opposite him while he downed two pints, when he started on about my s…

I understand some of how your feeling, my mum didn’t want me and I was raised by my dad, it’s really hard when you don’t get the parent child relationship you expected I’ve always described it as a sort of grief, my mother is not a nice person so I didn’t really miss out on her being in my life but I really missed that “mum” role model. There’s no real way to process that grief and there are still parts of me that feel sad sometimes and want my mum As I’ve got older and found myself longing to b…

Don’t stay with someone for the sake of it. For a relationship with a man to work you first and foremost need to respect him, and it doesn’t sound like you do. That lack of respect will turn to resentment and then to contempt. No relationship will be perfect all the time, we all have our ups and downs but it’s essential you can find the man who will be able to work through everything with you and not against you. You are not married to this man, you are still young at 31 so if you decide it’s be…

I like a man who’s fit and strong (good shoulders really get me). My partner works out a lot and we’re an outdoorsy couple with lots of hiking and such. So he’s very fit, you can tell by looking at him that he’s a fit man, but he isn’t ripped. He’s got that nice mix of a strong figure but some softness so he’s a nice cuddle partner. He’s told me before that to achieve a super ripped figure is really difficult and unsustainable. It involves a strict diet and to make the muscles visable lots of pe…

I just picked it up and tried it on, it looks way better than I anticipated. The navy is much more flattering than the light blue was which I think is what threw me off so hard last time. I’ve sent him some pictures so hopefully he agrees!

I saw you other comment but I’ll reply to this one, I just picked it up and tried it on and it looks WAY better than I expected. The sleeve mostly covers the one big arm tattoo and it’s long enough on me that even though technically my leg tattoos are visable they’re not as obvious as I thought they’d be. The darker colour made a big difference and is much more flattering

No of course that’s why I said I understand I was just surprised he didn’t pick a more fitted dress Since my wobble earlier I’ve bought the dress he selected, we all have those moments where we think something stupid for no good reason lol

I’m a bit put off the idea of the makeup especially because the dress is navy and I’m pale and one of the sleeves covers most of the biggest arm tattoo and it’d rub on the dress and look wierd. He never mentions them so I know it’s my own insecurity And I’m literally being ridiculous about the dress, but sometimes you just need to hear the reality check. I ordered the one he picked 💕

My biggest rule is I never talk bad about my man to someone else. If he’s upset me he’s the person I speak to about it. No venting and getting it off my chest. Most “guy friends” a girl has don’t have platonic feelings towards her, most girlfriends are quick to sabotage. There’s a bit of a caveat if you manage to befriend some RPW but it’s not easy. Also addressing him directly will tell you a lot. My ex boyfriend was awful, I didn’t need to hear anyone else’s opinions on him because he did a gr…

I usually plan my shopping around my meals. If your only cooking for yourself or one other person it’s easier to make a bigger batch and eat it over a few days - it’ll save time and money. I try to reuse things too, so I find it easier and cheeper to get a whole chicken, roast it and then add it to my dishes then make a stock out of the carcass than buying (for example) pre prepared chicken breast twice a week. Try and start with things you know you like to eat and work from there. So for exampl…

Tbh I wouldn’t have disclosed anything about your plans for losing your virginity, what if you got there and then decided that you wernt ready? This feels like a bargaining chip or like he’s paying for your virginity. You haven’t been together long so it feels like a lot of pressure to place on yourself I would have just told him it’s a place I would like to visit and left it upto him, I wouldn’t have attached anything about loosing virginity to it because he’ll see it like winning a video game,…

I’m sure I will but I can’t help but worry Honestly at first I took a lot of the lead and was bossy. I found RPW before it was too late and it started as an experiment, I just pulled back and let him take the lead and he almost immediately stepped into the role of leading the relationship. He really has that soft alpha energy, he doesn’t feel the need to be the boss all the time in every situation with everyone but when he needs to he’s really good at it. It’s been very interesting because I’ve …

My partner is six years younger than me. I never notice it, no one ever notices it, I don’t look significantly older than him or anything. He’s also the leader, the boss, the captain, whatever you want to call it, in our relationship The only thing that ever worries me is wanting to be a mum, I’m still in my early 30s but I’m aware that there are risks and challenges attached to it. Hopefully everything will be okay

Literally this. It’s a fetish and a dangerous one and not worth losing years of your life over whilst he pursues it I said this in another comment but clearly I’m a massive prude because even on redpill women I got get on this hyper pro oversexualisation train and supporting any and everyone in all of their proclivities.

This. There’s so many crossovers with trans widows every red flag flew up as I read this. I know it’s not en vouge to say this but I’d bolt out the door if my partner did this. I would absolutely not be okay with it and the way OP wrote this post I think it’s massively giving her the ick and setting off her alarm bells. You don’t even need to read transwidow stories a casual glance at what trans identifying males themselves say and this aligns with their nonsence. I’m clearly a massive prude bec…

My partner has ADHD and I think he makes an excellent captain He properly saw a psych and got on the right medication. He got it under control before I met him. He still struggles sometimes but I wouldn’t say it’s any different to anyone without ADHD.

I think he sounds like a waste of time personally, when your dating someone they’re putting their best self forward and I don’t think this is an example of his best self. I’ll be honest I think he’s putting a big man act on, it sounds like the sort of stupid thing men say to each other in the locker room rather than to a woman they take seriously. If he was such a wonderful sex king that his ex’s were so enamored with why wasn’t he still with them?

You need a good broth to start, I use two chicken carcasses, roast them for 40mins to an hour and put them in the slow cooker for 24 hours with a roughly chopped carrot, celary, onion, 2-4 bay leaves, some mixed herbs (I don’t usually have fresh to hand) salt and pepper and I love garlic so I throw several cubes in there. Onion skins will give it a nice rich colour For soups I keep them chunky, for chicken soup I use thighs (there my fave part anyway) I keep the bones on whilst they’re cooking i…

I’m straight up too lazy for a full face everyday, I can’t wear makeup at the moment because I need new glasses (it’s a whole thing). When the glasses situation is sorted I’ve bought a really lightweight foundation to wear daily, I like a touch of blush, mascara and tinted lip balm Maybe you need to look for a more low maintenance look for day to day that feels a bit more perked up from where you are not but not the full routine you used to do

I think that idea sounds amazing in your head but in reality would drive you up the wall. Firstly it’s not very common outside of religious cults and fringe wierd sexualities to come across people in these kinds of arrangements. Sure some millionaire somewhere can get lots of women to sleep with him but Joe the mechanic who works 60 hours a week isn’t. Most women are not going to be okay with that kind of arrangement and even if you could get that to happen those women would drive you mad with t…

Where are all these women that men are sleeping with? By your own admission women are very picky and the average man isn’t sleeping with a haram of women. It sounds to me like you’ve been listening to a lot of the contemporary red pill podcasts, they largely centre on making fools out of young silly sex workers. My partner doesn’t meet the 666 requirement for a high value man, he doesn’t make six figures, he doesn’t have a six pack and he’s not six foot tall. I would consider him a high value ma…

I’m not so upset by the women from my teens because I understand that they were also misguided, plus I turned 18 in 2009 so I feel like we got hit hard with a lot of teen movies and teenage media (I was in the UK growing up when SKINS which would be pretty equivalent to euphoria) so we were getting a lot of bad information from lots of angles But when I was in my 20s and my friend was pushing that nonsence it really annoyed me. I felt a lot of peer pressure to loose it from my girlfriends at the time. I haven’t slept with many people but I remember even in my twenties getting a lot of pressure from a friend of mine at the time to just “have a hoe faze” I went on a couple of dates with guys but couldn’t bring myself to sleep with men I wasn’t romantically interested in. I can imagine how hard that must be for you, especially as our current culture is so against stay at home mothers Firstly I think when other women are treating you like this it’s comming from a good place, given the oppertunity I think a lot more women would be happy to stay home but many don’t want to admit it for a variety of reasons. I don’t say this lightly, I think you should leave and go home, if you need help returning home get your passport and contact your countries embassy. If he’s taken your passport contact the police. This is domestic violence. Your husband sounds like an addict, don’t touch his computer again. Erasing his porn is the equivalent to pouring an alcoholics drink down the drain. I’m in a LDR and I have to say this is top advice especially about communication being consistent over constant Also to add, you have to at some point plan for an end date. A LDR can’t be strung on forever and ever, you need to make a decision (not immedietly but eventually) about what’s going to happen and who’s going where. This all seems like a massive disaster unfolding. You need to be honest with your ex and at least have the courtesy to explain to him why your leaving. I think it’s the idea that words become thoughts. I’m sure everyone can think of a time when someone said something to you that was so mean you started to believe it. The reverse can also be true, you tell someone good things about themselves and they start to believe it I think peoples issues with the “white lies” is your telling someone things that arnt true so it comes across as manipulative. You said in other comments he’s only 22 so honestly I do think this isn’t that unusual for a 22 year old. I definatly knew people who had never worked before when I was that age and I come from a very working class background. I would not help him nor would I offer too. The university will have amazing resources for helping to write CVs and apply for jobs and if not there are loads of resources in the community and online. As Laura Doyle says, this is not on your paper. If you start getting invo…

Yeah that’s what I was playing (sadly the team I played for is now full of men) I think sport is such a healthy outlet!

I think you should take up a hobby, when an ex boyfriend of mine really upset me with his stupid dramatic exit and then trying to tease me ong like someone waving a string at a kitten I took up a womens full contact sport. Really helped me get over it

If you can understand English better by listening rather than reading you can get her book as an audiobook?

This! I think it’s so important to aknowledge our own behaviour! I don’t know if it was the same for you, but for me when I talked to people about it and they talked about how I was a victim it made me feel so lost and helpless, I think acknowledging my own behaviour helped me take back power over the situation. Here’s how I messed up, here’s how I won’t do that again.

Tbh I think the variables is what makes it so challenging and the internet is full of stupid advice. For me, when I met my partner in person, I paid attention not just to what he said but the way he acted in all sorts of situations. A lot of people quote the “being nice to the waiter” thing but I’ve known people who are lovely to wait staff and awful behind doors. My partner visited me during the school break and we visited a museam, the place was full of annoying and unattended children. It str…

I think there’s proberbly several women here who can speak from experience, I will share some of my own Prior to my current man I had a long term relationship with a boyfriend I lived with. I ended it. I believe whole heartedly that I made the right decision and wish I had done it earlier or not entered into the relationship at all. The relationship was abusive on his part. I’m not talking some bad habits and grumpy toxic masculinity or whatever people call it these days. He damaged my financial…

I changed a lot for what my ex liked which was this very alternative, goth style. I dyed my hair florecent colours or black how he liked and I felt like a fraud My current boyfriend doesn’t care what I wear. I ask his opinion on some things and he generally seems to like what I like, sometimes he’ll point out he particularly liked something I wore (usually dresses, if I dress up a bit that really catches his attention). He’s not bothered about makeup hair or anything. I also like that he will dr…

It’s partly going to depend on where you are in the world, I’m in the UK and I’m not getting paid a nurses wage (I make about 5k less a year) but I am getting paid very well considering I don’t have many qualifications and my last jobs were as a professional bum wiper Three things went in my favour. One, I’m very well written and well spoken, what I’m doing now requires a lot of writing and working with various professionals and I can really come across well. Two, I have a lot of experience in t…

My boyfriend doesn’t care what I do so long as I’m happy so maybe my point stands for nothing. I was at university training to be a nurse but it fell through for multiple reasons and I took a basic job in a care home making minimum wage. I wasn’t sure if I was going to go back to university to finish my training. I started looking for another job and my boyfriend gave me some tips, I ended up finding myself an amazing job that’s still within social care but isn’t direct patient care, better hour…

This sounds like British dumplings! We make them with suet and they’re best in a hearty beef stew

I’m with you, I like the YouTuber “think before you sleep” though I think he’s more MGTOW than redpill. He talks very straight and I can see why he has a lot of male listeners and I think he’s actually very balanced. He always tries to at least pick one positive thing about the person he’s talking about no matter how much he disagrees with them which I like and he backs up a lot of what he says with good research

Not the OP but I’ve heard the six month thing anacdotally since I was a teenager. I was raised by my dad and hung out with a lot of boys and men though, I’m not sure what’s in Laura’s book (I’ve ordered it just waiting for it to arrive) but essentially most men can make a decision, they might not nesesserily share those thoughts and ideas with you but they will have some kind of plan in their head. Within six months they’ll have decided what future they want with you, again they just might not t…

I’m 32! But yeah I’ve been through all the safety stuff especially with my dad who I’m very close to. I’m really familiar with the area where we’ll be staying as I used to live there. I do have a special day planned but other than that I didn’t set too much in stone, just thought we’d see how it goes

Just thought I’d say (cos I used to be a dental nurse) apparently for dentists it’s because they work long hours doing lots of very tiny, tedious work. Also their offices often are lit by artificial light and they don’t always have windows (especially here in the UK). I actually loved being a dentist aid but I certainly wouldn’t have wanted to have been the dentist.

I understand it’s only a temporary style, but if you don’t wear wigs regularly and it’s not a style you would wear then it feels like a waste to purchase one. I’m not sure if there’s any resale value on them. Wigs that look good are expensive and it’s a time of high living costs. It’s one thing to pay out for a dress you won’t wear again but also a wig you won’t wear again? I don’t think there’s anything wrong with being graceful about declining to be a bridesmaid if it really crosses a line for…

I’m not going to dive into other previous posts that other users here have made and just deal with the questions at hand. I have a number of large tattoos, some of which are very visible. When I met my partner I had blue hair and several piercings as well as the tattoos. I am Also a few years older than him. I hit a lot of the “undesirable” markers. Red pill from what I’ve read about here and in men’s groups seems to be a lot more about facing reality and a lot of the time that can form some gen…
