App based side gigs is the way to go if your area supports it or the old delivering pizzas gig. Regardless you'll need flexibility.

Probably super unethical but starting to horde cash might also be the way. I know how I would do it. Magically develop a gambling habit and visit the local casino. I would use there atm and blow it all away...when in fact I'm stashing it. Only bad if you get caught.

Idk much about every states laws but filling for bankruptcy after the divorce is final might be the move.

I'm in counseling after she didn't want to do couples but that's another story. Generally you got to be fully open about yourself and your situations. Counseling can give you clarity that you need. I got for 1 hrs every other weekend, but the work is fully on yourself. To build yourself up takes time and patience. The go to is working out but Generally you need to find purpose in a hobby you enjoy. If you have kids, to do better for them. Our goal is to make our kids be able to survive and thriv…

Best bet is finding a studio or a room to rent. Depending how much money you do have to burn a extended stay motel.
