Learn to be alone. This is killing me, I used to be plugged into blue pulled church culture so I got used to being around many people. I really liked having an intimate community but was always skeptical. Anyways now I'm 26 with next to no friends or community. Hell I even hate my own mother for divorcing my father. Any advice on how to make this more bearable?

Same but there is a silver lining. Since nothing really matters then that means you are free to do what you want! Responsibly of course, get a vasectomy and fuk as many chicks as you can, stack cash, and get in the best physical shape you can to do cool shit. Teach, travel, create, or even destroy lol Live above the influence of society and be a remarkable outlier! Rewrite the story of your life as the hero of your life. Our attitudes derive from the narrative we think we're living. Change your …

Same, my mother divorced my father, he was a good man. I refuse to be a good man, good men are being crushed out here.

I agree with gentle lemon, GM and Chrysler group vehicles are terrible. I would opt for either the Toyota or Honda.

Jesus, my condolences if you got diagnosed with cancer. But yes, not to be cynical but if you have a regular illness they will push and prod you too go to a doctor not because they care about you but because you are their source of $$. if you can't work that means no money for her.

Sup bro I'm 26 I too found myself feeling the same way at your age but worse because I left my church, gf, and my family and friends due to Uni been so tough and my parents divorcing. I stuffed my feelings down throughout college and I spent 3 years processing everything. Anyways, I'm here to tell you what helped me get through it. Acceptance. Acceptance is the cure to just about everything. If you're raging it's because deep down you want things to be different which is normal. Having to deprog…

Yeah unfortunately this is the direction I'm leaning. My family is Hispanic and they preach how traditional and family oriented we are.. only it's clearly not true since my mom left my father and went full feminist and pushed all of my dad's family away as well as her sisters families away. Now my mom is running out of family. 🤡😂 I'm thinking do the pictures, eat, short toast and then leave.

Haha I already did that once to one of my cousin's wedding recently. My brother's fiance stated, "Well if he had brought a date" I don't remember what else but she's a 🤡 then my sister's fiance said, "How are we all supposed to get married when we have this situation with your youngest brother (me) " I replied "I'm above the influence and I'd rather be a rich outlier."

True, but I gotta tell ya I'm just not in the mood. I'm just so repulsed by everything. My mom actually told them when my brother was having doubts, "You never know unless your try." Jesus Christ that's terrible advice.

Yeah bro I too sought for help in the same way. Trying to figure out my parents divorce, my struggles with listening to my gfs and receiving poor results, etc I was depressed about it until I realized how much of blessing TRP is. I refuse to be a statistic and am opting to be an outlier that is above the influence of societies expectations. I'm skipping having a family and a wife. Instead I'll just skip ahead and fund my retirement early in case I want to retire early. Also I'm planning on getti…

I wouldn't doubt that the lawyer's law firm funded that judge's campaign.. it's a widespread corruption issue found in all court systems. If you ever have to go before a judge, make sure you have a lawyer who's firm funded the judge's campaign.

I've thought the same thing, still do at times. It's always easier to care for others than to care for yourself. That is why you work hard and set goals for yourself. You must learn to treat yourself as if you were someone you cared about. Work hard stack cash so you can retire early if you want to. What are you going to do in your retired years? Find a community your passionate about and plug yourself in. Whether it's volunteering, religion(careful here), teaching kids in schools, becoming phys…

Outstanding job, enforcing your boundaries. It's just difficult to enforce my boundaries because they're such an huge part of my life I'm hispanic american. In all honesty I don't have very many friends so that makes it difficult to distance myself. Where/how do you get your community needs met?

That sounds like a legit plan, I will set the example of prioritizing excellence, health and retirement before anything else.

Damn bro I feel you, the social pressure/stigma is absurd. I finished my degree in 4 years and worked for 2 years but have been weary of medical school so I decided to take some time. Now they hate me even more for not being perfect. I'm done with what they think of me, radical acceptance of the truth is the way.

Lmao I moved out when I was 21 but had to move back due to some issues and went back to school for some prerequisites. I'll be done in August. I want to move to Florida

Honestly I forgot I could BS it too lol but I'm not used to lying. Guess I'll have to develop that skill. Yeah it's just difficult because I'm the elephant in the room. They're always talking about their weddings and I don't even have a gf right now. (Nor do I want one). It's getting to the point where I'm just not even gonna be at their weddings. Crazy man
/r/MGTOW16/03/21 07:25 AM

It's difficult to avoid the topic since I'm always the elephant in the room. So I just avoid eating with them or being in the house at the same time as much as possible.

Women are not rational they won't accept this.

Blending in as a normie is exactly what I'm trying to do. Although I need a response that puts women at ease because affirming I am single implies there's something wrong with me.

I see where you're coming from but truth is I do meet most prerequisites. They usually ask what I do for a living and after I tell them the immediate next question is if I'm married. 🙄

I get it leave the door open to entice them with betabuxs then kick them out lol
/r/MGTOW09/01/21 08:04 PM

Lmao if they target me, I'll just play dumb and maintain plausible deniability. I used to be a hopeless romantic when I was a teenager so this tactic allows me to play to my strength.
/r/MGTOW09/01/21 08:01 PM

Why lie? Because women base their lives off lies. If you speak truth they will shun you because they don't want to take any responsibility for their actions. The truth is hostile to them, instead tell them what they want to hear and they'll b friendly with you. Edit: past to present tense

Lol that's hilarious, I love seeing discrepancies between what they say and what they actually do. Obviously what they do is what they actually believe. Although I guess I should of specified in workplace context because I need them to not be upset with so that they will work with me. In other words disarm them. I think I'll stick to, "I have found the one yet" BS lmao

Exactly, spot on

I feel this but we live in a political world. I need people to like me so they'll work with me etc. I have to be macheivallian in my field.
/r/MGTOW09/01/21 04:50 PM

Excellent, I'm thinking of also parroting back their BS lies like, "I just haven't found the one, I'm too much of a hopeless romantic." What do you think?
/r/MGTOW09/01/21 04:49 PM
8

Doesn't matter, they'll be upset towards me for saying the truth. I'm thinking about saying "I just haven't found the one." Lol feed their BS lies back to them.

I hear you, yes I working with a "team" of women is quite awful. Although I just don't see myself doing anything else other than lab then anesthesia in some capacity. I looked into the Biotech industry but was not interested in project management, business development, or manufacturing/QA/QC roles. I'm not really interested in IT except for learning to code for my own potential to freelance. (Online business idea) I've also heard of a high MD turn over but my goal is to become a locum tenens ane…

That's excellent, I've always wanted to become an entrepreneur since I was little but as I grew up the medical field opened itself up to me. I'm still interested in entrepreneurship and I might looking into free lance coding. Cheers mate! 🍻

I've also heard this and seen this but it's hard to tell because of all the "follow your passion" BS. I'm passionate about it but I'm also passionate about not being a fool. I'll stick to applying to the Physician Assistant, Anesthesia Assistant schools then. That way I can have a good work life balance.
/r/MGTOW21/12/20 05:54 PM

The lab career path is very stagnant. I can only hope to make $35-$45/hr as lab manager. Not to mention I don't want a position like that. I'd rather be an MD anesthesiologist. Since I'm very interested in anesthesia.

I didn't take loans, I just went to a very affordable Community College and University. I agree with this, I'll pay off a mortgage first and then see to student loans lol Cheers 🍻

That's the thing I don't love my profession. I did in college but in practice it's awful. A lot of my classmates feel like we were sold a lemon.

Yeah I think my post come off more aggressive towards money than I thought. I'm just looking to maximize my potential in my areas of interest. To give you an example of my current frustration, in my current hospital lead techs have to bear so much more responsibility than regular techs and for only $4/hr more. My manager's is even worse sure she might make 90k a year but holy hell it's not worth it. So why am I a tech? I want to move up in the world but not in my current field.
/r/MGTOW09/02/20 08:10 PM

I think my post might of come off more aggressive towards money than I meant it to but I didn't think I need to explain that. There's plenty of ways to make lots of money. I just am looking to maximize my potential in areas of my interest of which have always been healthcare, chemistry, accounting. I don't like the idea of a single propose, there are many different roles we're going to play and we should try our best in each of them while we're there.

You're right not having goals is the best way to be.
/r/MGTOW09/02/20 08:01 PM

Simply trying to maximize my potential, save more than enough money to be generous in the future.

I already do what makes me happy, I just want to maximize my potential in a way that doesn't compromise my stability.

Learning the science was thrilling but in practice healthcare is a catastrophe.
