While I won't tell you the owner's ID, I will say that his family is very highly connected in the California pop music business.

At a construction site. The owner comes down to talk to the boss, and thank the crew for their good work. Owner was the swishiest person I've ever seen. (Imagine a 5'5" 300 pound Richard Simmons--but swishier--, dressed in passionate pink.) Boss's 6 y/o son has his 6 y/o friend with him. Owner says "And just who is this little charmer?" 6 y/o friend says, "YOU TALK LIKE A GIRL!" Much mirth ensued. To his credit, owner laughed hardest of all.

I'll never forget the look of both pride and restraint (at keeping her smile at bay) that suddenly appeared on my mother's face. From the mouths of babes... Sir, I would like the honor of buying you a drink when we meet!

Here's a (true) story that may shed some light: My brother got an interesting insight into the female mind several years ago. His wife and 2 daughters were preparing for some large gathering of the female persuasion–– a quilting convention or some such. Two hours before departure time, they were fully engaged in dressing up, makeup, etc. He did a double take and said, "Why all the makeup? It's only going to be other women there." His oldest daughter replied, "Daddy, you don't understand! This is…

It is-- or was-- the difference between being a citizen or a subject.

This one! It was the first thing I thought of when I read OP.

As you can see the only reason she fared better than the baboon was that she managed to restrain herself from eating the test paper". I laughed at first, then realized just how true this is. MOST of the women I've encountered in my CS classes (many years ago) were self-driven, but I do remember the types that the OP talks about. Hell with them.

I'd be happy to cooperate but I'd like to consult with an attorney first please." Say nothing else. NEVER, EVER assume that "Everything will be OK because I am innocent." Just about any citizen here needs to do this: Go to Youtube and search for "Why I never speak to the police." It's a lecture by a U. of Virginia law professor and it is about ALWAYS invoking your 5th Amendment rights when dealing with the police (and othe parts of the government, such as the IRS). Even if the cops are clean, th…

The first time, I buzzed it as short as I could with electric shears, then used a disposable razor to cut it very, very short (i.e. to the skin). I kept it skin-short for many years. Now that I'm married I keep the 'fringe' pretty short. And let me repeat: KEEP YOUR HEAD SAFE FROM THE SUN! Sunburns are eight times as bad when you are shaved up there! So invest in ballcaps, and keep at least one in each car, and another at home.

Can I talk to you as a friend? I will anyway. Long hair with a bald spot on top looks like hell. Take my word for it!

Just embrace it and believe me - you will like yourself more bald. ABSOLUTELY true! I started going bald at maybe 15 (I was the guy who never got carded in HS!); at 35 my hairline had receded to a line directly above my ears. I'd just read an article about Buddy Holly's aversion to wearing glasses; Jan Berry (of Jan and Dean) told him, "If you're gonna wear glasses, WEAR GLASSES!" (In other words, GO ALL THE WAY!) I shaved it off. All of it. And never looked back! The first month I had complete …

Damn, dude. I just realized that your experience has basically been mine, all through my dating career. I'm no prize but the women I've dated (and occasionally slept with) have been doing this to me. I feel like I have awakened from a deep sleep.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
