Going through the same thing with my wife of 28 years… It’s important to remember you are not perfect. You have caused issues in your marriage that you may not even be aware of…If you care about this woman if you have enough fight in you left to fight for you guys… I would recommend doing it… There’s got to be a reason you stayed with her this long. 11	Verbally abusive dad Yeah man...that’s clear cut verbal abuse and neither your mom or you deserve that...my suggestion is that the next time he says something to her...calmly tell him “do not talk to my mom like that”...if it escalates it escalates...but I have found in past experiences men like that are bully’s and cowards and cowards hate confrontation...good luck op...learn from this and break the fucking cycle.	/r/askTRP	21/06/19 12:16 AM
