Indeed. All the anxiety is a series of thoughts that escalate in scope and seriousness till they cripple you. Man shes hot. And funny and nice. I gotta ask her out. She could be "the one". Fuck what if I mess up. What if this what if that. Makes you batty thinking about it. And being rejected just gets rid of it all. its wonderful

I am not a Red Piller but can confirm. Being rejected in highschool was an amazing feeling AFTER the fact. I felt free and unstoppable once the enormous weight of the unknown was lifted. So much so in fact that each time I was rejected I would immeadiately ask another girl out the same day on a whim. Cuz fuck it why not.

I believe it is true, but in your case its a little too extreme. But if it's not a mental health issue, the power to change is in your hands. You have to make a consistent strong effort to change your way of thinking and/or develop habits to improve your life. Well its all a manner of perspective. You have a few options to deal with your issue. You can accept it and deal with it as it stands. You could find a way to maybe change your thinking as I suggested and correct the issue. You could think about it in terms of your personal happiness. You could think, "Maybe those girls are very unhappy and hurt by the asshole, but me thinking about it and all the other similar situations are leading to obseesive and unhealthy behavior. Try and visualize your ex…

You are putting too much emphasis into focus and imagination. You can't project how YOU would feel in their positions on to them. It's fine to be sensitive to others feelings but don't guess and imagine about others feelings. Instead look for concrete evidence indicating people's emotions and focus ONLY on that. Also, in that specific case, why would the girls either feel as you thought they did or deserve your empathy? Too much guesswork. Don't let your imagination cripple you.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
