It’s a certain feeling of insecurity that comes with teenage hood (especially in girls) that you might not understand. Yes, adults get insecure, jealous and irrational. Its really hard to explain. I also can’t explain a feeling that you haven’t experienced and will never.

I understand if men don’t go through that process when they are young so maybe it’s hard to understand the mind of a teenage girl and how we perceive things when we are young to how we perceive things when we get older. It’s less society telling us we should be naive and immature, we just were naturally. It’s biology

It wasn’t a social construct for me and my friends. I’ve had this conversation with my buddies and we all came to the same conclusion that we did not really mentally “mature” until we turned 25-kid you not. We all agreed to being exceptionally immature, not because society told us to, it was just how are brains weren’t developed yet. Which is not a bad thing, it’s a process growing up. But I will tell you that any boy I was interested in, I would completely be dramatic, jealous, and insecure aro…

Definitely was the exception, still wasn’t ready for sex and procreation in my teenage years. I don’t think I was the exception in the way of teenagers generally not being mentally ready for sex. Regardless of what their body is telling them, the mind doesn’t always add up.

So strange though, I was a skinny kid given grass fed beef and organic milk all my life. Still got my period at 11. I’m 31 now and drink all the soy milk

Heck, I got my period at 11. I definitely was not ready, and at 16 a few years later I DEFINITELY was not ready mentally.
