I don't get what you're saying. When people make false accusations the immediate harm is to the falsely accused, the collateral damage is that legitimate victims are discouraged from reporting and are less likely to be believed. Of course it isn't acceptable. It's simply understandable. Like catching your wife in bed with another man, or finding out your child was sexually abused, sometimes we are provoked past the point of reason. Reaching out to men who have been emotionally, psychologically, and physically abused before it gets to that point is the point.

You can't discount the poet's personal experience. Fact is a lot of men DO run from their families, particularly in the black community. Not to mention the drastic percentage of black men who are murdered or imprisoned, leaving their families behind, often for dealing drugs or committing other crimes simply to support that family in communities devoid of opportunity. It's not a violation of your rights if you agree to it, at that point it's a contractual agreement. Wrong, right? These terms are meaningless.
