I sometimes find myself focusing too much on how men are treated in society and have to talk to my level headed feminist friends the issues they face as well. Can't tell you how many weird looks I have gotten telling people I am a MRA. This picture is so idiotic. So many things in this are objective. I fail to see how being a doctor or an engineer, both careers which take of lot of hard work, education, and dedication make you privileged. Or how because I am 6 feet tall it makes me privileged, I have hit my head on loads of stuff that if I was shorter I would have easily avoided, didn't feel 'privileged' then! He shouldn't just have to accept it as a 'joke'. I know I wouldn't like that and my mother knows she could not get away with saying something like that to me. I would just politely say something to the like of, "I don't need any training, I am a capable human being." I hate things like this because if this was reversed today, no one would stand for it. I just spent about 30 minutes in /r/theredpill... I don't even know what to say... I can see what you mean by having some similarities on outlook, but to me they remind me of extreme feminists, just with the gender switched. Posts that demean women in the same fashion that extreme feminist posts demean men. And just a feeling of hatred for women. Personally, I hope all of those people stay out of Mensrights because I do not see how they could be productive here.

My point is that we can't get along because we are so different and we are both too fixated on things that only apply to our respective genders to 'work together'. Both Feminism and Mensrights subs focus on entirely different things. If you look on the top of Feminism you will see stuff about Abortion, Rape Culture, Patriarchy, etc. But when you look at the top for Mensrights rights you see a lot of posts pointing out how women can be sexist too, Double Standards, or even POSITIVE posts about progress in the movement. That is what I found interesting.

Men should have more to say about abortion since it is their child too. Not to mention when women get pregnant on purpose in order to try and trap their partners into either staying with them or making them pay child support for 18 years. I had no intentions of being sexist or "preachy" as you put it, I only put the symbol on their to try to make it not preachy or sexist. If you are talking about if roles were reversed and men were the ones who were believed when it came sexual assault cases, then yes, of course some men would take advantage of it just like how some women do. Their are people who are just evil, regardless of gender, and would take advantage of any tools at their disposal to harm someone they do not like.

I'm not debating abortion... I was simply stating that this point of view that you coined as 'rare' is simply not as rare as you think. Its the one most moderate Christians share. Anyway, like it has been stating on here before, the system we have now is unfair to men. That is simply a fact. The father has NO CHOICE whether to pay child support or not even if he does not want the child. The father should be able to opt out of paying child support while an abortion is still able to be had.
