The first actually nice thing a boy did for me at school was loudly call out his best friend for repeating the joke I'd made loudly as though he'd just said it for the first time. Men who don't think women are funny are always the most unfunny ones anyway.

You can't derail someone and then be annoyed your derailment didnt get engaged with in good faith.

Agree. So much difference between a guy who sometimes plays video games and a gamer.

But 20 years worth of inflation though... (I completely agree with your point though. There's some really nice fine jewellery on the more affordable end).

He sounds like the kind of guy who expects a novel to outright say what the themes are at the start.

Seems to be becoming more and more popular to misapply the term boundaries like that.

Irish have a lot of problems in England with the English and i am sorry you have that and when I say that colourism endured with racism brings another dimension to this I dont mean to diminish what you also experience x

Where you said they have similar ideas... yeah just saying as an "actual" asian woman who grew up in the south east that that was a clumsy phrasing. Ngl some of the worst racism I've experienced in the uk has been from welsh men. I agree its pathetic whoever its directed at, i just found the comparison cringe tbqh

I agree on the most part but lmao being from the celtic nations is not the same as being Black or Asian in South East England 💀

Agreed. Outside of abuse etc (obviously), I prefer a man who has a good relationship with his mother. I've noticed north American women on reddit seem to have higher standards of what constitutes a mama's boy, which is why I mentioned it.

Emotionally unavailable, alcoholic and mama's boys by North American standards i would imagine. There are a few good ones, as there are everywhere I should think.

I always kind of thought that was the point, to make the listener feel like that?

I feel completely different. A guy who can't remain good friends but with sensible boundaries in place with an ex is useless to me. Especially if you are all in the same primary friendship group.

I know right? He booked a boys trip over her birthday because her birthday isn't even in his calender.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
