3	Circumcised male here, why do people hate circumcision? Pure logic. It's a well-established fact that the foreskin is the most sensitive part of the male body. It is densely packed with highly specialised nerves - some estimates go up to 20,000. Prove it for yourself by asking an intact man if his foreskin is sensitive! 1	It's called Male genital mutilation. The World Health Organisation lists at least 4 different types of FGM. The one you describe is at the most serious end of the scale. The other end starts with a pin-prick to draw a drop of blood. There's a whole range inbetween, about half of which are way less severe and invasive than MGM. I'm not happy about that - I resent the fact that my parents chose my sex life - and that of my wife. I spoke to them about it. Cognitive dissonance kicks in, making it really difficult to admit you're damaged. That's where so many men say "I'm cut and I'm fine." Men are generally taught from an early age to suck it up and say nothing. But many more men are discovering what was done to them - and are seriously angry.
