That said, there are many things much worse than hate speech laws and there is no such thing as a country with totally free speech. Which makes your suggestion a bit weird. Personally, I also think that the left has been dead wrong on immigration (yes, there is such a thing as "too much" and in some countries, we have moved way past that level, with very detrimental effects to the fabric of society, catapulting countries in a right wing shift both in terms of living standard and stratification and in terms of values and views).
