I agree with the latter half of your comment, but have to throw a spanner in that first half: I come from a country where there are very few conservative men. What I mean by that is even our right wingers are to the left of your left wingers (assuming you are American). Like... I've been on the receiving end of this situation and I am very unconservative, to say the least. And my female friends who do this kind of stuff are really, really not attracted to conservative men in the first place. So …

Sounds like you're as perplexed about this type of attitude as I am then. Which just confirms - it's fucking bizarre! One of those modern cultural phenomena we just have to accept and adapt to, clearly.

Yep, that's the 21st century way. Probably a contributor to why 20-40 year olds are disproportionately riddled with STDs, but you do you.

Poor guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/21 04:57 PM

And, to be clear, while you are making relationship guy wait, you are sleeping with aforementioned men who come into the "only good for sex" category?

I'm sorry I'm a bit lost: where did I say that I think all women are like this? I don't think I did, but I am happy to be proved wrong if you have the evidence. I'm saying that, more often than not, this is the situation I have encountered with women. You may be correct in that I must be attracted to "sluts" for the most part, but that begs the question I posited above - how can one tell who is a slut and who isn't, especially when deceptive characteristics are inherent to "sluttiness". It can't…

Gotcha, and agree. I would say that, in my experience, women and men are equally susceptible to this kind of behaviour. It's not a gender thing, it's a broken person/piece of shit thing.

Do you think this women is making a man she wants wait for sex while she is having sex with other men, at the same time? In this hypothetical we're discussing - yes, that is the case. And I'm basing my hypothetical on one of my friend's situations at the current moment: she's been out on three dates with a guy who she really wants a relationship with, and she is purposefully making him wait for sex so he "respects" her. At the same time, she is hooking up with random guys from Tinder. She went o…

I agree with you in theory, but practice is another matter entirely - because how can you tell who is a slut and who isn't? In my experience, they hide it very well. Men and women both.

Right, but in that situation: When the guy she actually likes finds out that he's been taking this woman out on elaborate dates for weeks, and all the while she's been banging randos who she doesn't even like - is there any form of self-realisation or self-awareness when the guy gets disgusted and ditches her?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/21 04:26 PM

Haha, well... it may be drawn from real life just a little bit. But I mean in general: what is going on when a woman cheats on someone "desirable" with someone who is "undesirable". Like I know a woman who cheated on her lovely, handsome husband with a guy who is a convicted sex offender. What the fuck.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/21 03:57 PM

Always wondered this as well. Like, what's going through your head when you cheat on your attractive, rich, attentive boyfriend with a jobless, skinny-fat, 33 year old coke dealer who still lives with his mum? Bizarre.

Why would a woman who is dating man whom she likes and desires a relationship with "make him wait" for sex, while at the same time immediately sleeping with randoms whom she sees no future with? Like wtf is the point of that? Genuinely perplexes me, always has.

Hmmm, that one's difficult to say without knowing your age. For example, I wouldn't really consider dating anyone below 28. So (when I was dating) if I met a woman who was 28 years old with 0 sexual experience, I have to admit I'd be concerned. It would make me think - "is there some sort of physical or mental problem here?" But if you're 18-22 then I'd say nah don't worry about it at all. Not weird; not a distadvantage. There will be men who won't like it, and there will be men who will like …

I'll answer you as best I can, but as with anything on Reddit take what I say with a grain of salt because it's just my personal experience and things may be totally different for other people. Thinking about my past experiences, I'd say that 75% of the women I've dated have been seeing other men at the same time. Of that 75%, about half are open about it, and the other half keep it secret (but you usually find out some way or another, eventually). This is about the same for what I know about my…

I used to agree with you, but these days I feel no shame about it. Most of the time women are shagging 2-3 guys at the minimum. Can't get hung up on one until you find that special one. It's the reality of our times. I don't necessarily like it, but I play ball. It's a strenuous time-sink though. Dating engulfs your whole life.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
