And there are cases of millions of women being gangraped, forced into marriage, not allowed to go to school, not allowed to live a life they want. This does not invalidate the 5 incidents you saw, but understand women are only now in this generation coming of age in terms of equality in society. This comes with certain people also taking advantage of it.

Again, a small sample size such as this cannot be held valid for a whole section of society however wrong it might be. This however should not diminish the suffering which the individual goes through. There may be hundreds of women who treat their spouses badly, my own family being examples of it. They don't do it because of feminism. They do it because that is how they behave, and they need to improve. I think your points here are quite delusional, because men have never and probably will never…

Yes, there were quite a few comments completely ignoring his feelings and asking about the wife. I get the anger over that, since he has come with his issues and they're turning it back onto him. That is wrong.

What is this one anonymous redditor question you're using as anecdotal evidence to misrepresent the feminist movement? One incident does not apply to an entire section. However the responses to his obvious distress should've been more empathetic.

It's all been removed I think, and I can't comment on it for some reason.

Link it here. I feel if the responses aren't unhinged then they may keep it up.

I was expecting somebody to say that, and yeah I would agree with you there. However in my experience Nazis and feminists are leagues apart so I wouldn't expect anybody to compare them. Nazis and other genocidal groups are scum. I don't know if this sounds bad, but I wouldn't call racists scum per se, I feel they just need some awareness and education. At least in the contexts that I have seen.

True true, maybe less if the divide is apparent in western countries. Like I said though, in developing countries they cannot go out without male escorts, wear what they want to, get access to education, choose who they want to marry, have a comfortable work environment if they're allowee to work, etc. Feminism is still a requirement in these situations. In terms of a war like situation and being conscripted, yeah the inequality is clear and saddening.

I think if we're calling a group whose ideology we don't agree with as scum, we're losing sight of the real goal and resorting to insults. Anti feminism isn't so much a movement of being against feminism but rather being against extreme feminism that allows certain women to weaponise the movement and take advantage. What's happening in S Korea based on that article paints the men there in poor light, honestly. There are spycam victims, domestic violence and marginalized groups who were benefitin…

Sounds intelligent enough to know definitely, but as time goes on we have a tendency to stick by our opinions more rather than have an open mind. I was pointing that out.

Hey bro, don't get carried away by all these comments giving you props for a view point they agree with. You're 14 rn, and you have a long way to go so don't start holing yourself into these imaginary corners and opinions. Continue to observe with an open mind. Feminism in it's essence is a necessity, undoubtedly. However it does take on warped forms in today's hyperconnected, anonymous internet world and social media chaos to the point where the true meaning is lost, and it gets abused very oft…

No bro, idiocy caused that

Dude, read the entire post. It definitely made a lot of sense irrespective of the gender.

This has less to do with feminism and more with idiocy.

How did feminism cause this tho? They're just entitled toddlers, gender doesn't really play a role here.

Bro, you don't need to die if you disagree with feminism. Chill out. They just want equality and there are obviously some extremists like in every section of society. Please don't say you want to die fighting it, because that is quite senseless. Live life for yourself, your friends and your family. Don't die for something you disagree with. Jai Hind!

Interesting point. No I wouldn't. Would you call anti feminists a woman hating group?

This sub is literally the male version of feminist extremists

Violence against women is a gender issue largely brought about by a patriarchal society, isn't it?

Haha, that's funny. xD Comparing women to a commodity you wear on your feet isn't.

Yeah, if your partner thinks you're a person who would sleep with anyone then your value in their eyes does go down. Yes, I would continue to date a person who has a significant body count, if the person really matters and I see something worthwhile in them. However to compare women to shoes is downright insulting, I hope you get that.

Women are not commodities. Shoes are. You can't compare your mother, sister, aunts and girlfriend to a pair of shoes.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
