Great post, I have been struggling alot over the last few months with discipline and time management. This is after having an amazing year developmentally with my education and accomplishments. I really can't place exactly what's wrong and have only a general approach with getting back on track. This post gets at the thing I've almost completely forgotten about, Principles. This whole time I've been spiraling downwards as my brain hamster wheels trying to find an "answer". Some bit of informatio…

Learn to dress properly for the weather and wear clothes that fit. I just generally like dressing nice regardless, but it is a form of "peacocking" according to TRP. It's pretty incredible what just having good fitting clothing can do. That being said though, you have to own it and you can't just dress a certain way and expect life to change. Find a style that works for you so that you don't feel weird wearing it, though some things are worth a small amount of adjustment. You also need to lift a…

I feel this, im also a student and last week I resorted to the nuclear option and deleted all the games off of my computer. My productivity is definitely up and I'm doing more homework but it's a slow come up as I definitely find myself hungry for that kind of stimulation. It's scary how much of an effect it had on me. I'm just going to continue to lift and push myself to be more proactive about assignments/ studying. Embrace the struggle.

I believe "being an asshole" can mean either you like fucking people over and actually being a dick, or you just care about yourself more than the people around you and base most if you actions on you own self enjoyment. The latter being the key to success long term and making yourself a better person. I could elaborate alot more but I'll save it for if someone asks. Side note: people should read "No More Mr. Nice Guy" gives alot of insight into this topic imo.

Great stuff, but I do need to say it. You should've said in the second interaction something pertaining to the fact that she drives 40 minutes every Monday in search of nuts.

Instead of opening by complimenting them directly, I'd try pointing out something about them like jewelry, clothing, hairstyle ect. That you find interesting or like. Mark Manson goes on about how women that are hot (especially in clubs) know they are hot so instead try to take interest in them and be different. Hope that provides some insight.

You have to a knowledge the fact to them that what your doing isn't "normal". By that I mean in a social sense. Think of a reason why you wanted to talk to her, just wanting to talk someone for no reason is not normal behavior. So say something along the lines of "I don't normally do this but I thought you were really cute and wanted to get to know you better" just aknowledging the fact that what your doing is out of the ordinary will show that you aren't out of touch with reality. Basically rea…
