I do not think it should be treated as murder because of the nature of the crime. I really don't think she was fully aware of what she was doing. Post partum depression is not the same as depression. Its the result of a home imbalance from pregnancy. Mental health is a serious issue and I don't like it when people are criminalized for it (men and women). That's not to say that people shouldn't be punished or put in jail. Some women kill themselves because of it and their children. I'd invite you to perhaps research it a little. In this case the woman could be considered not criminally responsible due to mental disorder (at least if this happened in Canada). Men get this too quite a lot except not for post partum depression obviously. There was one case where a man stabbed a bunch of people on a greyhound bus (he had schizophrenia). 1	Fat women are „plus sized“ and fat men are overweight. Seems legit. I'd just like to point out that plus sized may not mean the same thing as overweight. Overweight implies there's a health issue.
