Exactly, so when she says there is "no proven genetic or physiological basis" for GD, she is wrong. No one knows the exact details why GD occurs, sure, but you can say with great certainty that a physiological connection is involved. What are you talking about? Of course there's a variance, but the dimorphism is pretty significant so there is a distinct male range and female range. You can confidently tell the sex of the subject using the method above. MTF people lay within the female range while FTM within the male range. While I am sure some people transition for bad reasons, the fact is that if you look at the sexual dimorphism in the brain you can confidently tell who is a man and who is a woman.
