No. I could afford a place. What i can't afford is paying for my own place as well as a place for her and the kids.

COVID’s been over for a year. Plenty of signs saying help wanted everywhere. No reason you can’t have a second job. Correct. I have a second job Take some responsibility for your shit. Even in your response your blaming your wife/Covid Am I blaming them? I'm blaming myself for being a pussy as a single man and seeking to be in a relationship with an older woman who was out of options and wanted to be married. I did this to myself. I've never denied that. I lost my job due to covid sure, but I wo…

I assume this is advice for next time, seeing as this all took place last night. Also, with her name on the lease, can she even be evicted? I'd have to get an order of protection for that, I believe. And again, I can't afford this place without her, so what's the point? Cause more drama? Who will watch the kids with her evicted/homeless and me having to work?

She's 35. I'm 28. Married when I was 26 and she was 33. Lost my career due to Covid shut down. Used all of my savings plus unemployment money to move and get married. So stupid decision after stupid decision giving my wife all of my power and resources over the past few years.

From the very beginning, I made the mistake of training my wife to believe that I will never leave her regardless of what she could ever do besides cheating. These are the consequences of my actions. I agree. She can leave. She can do whatever she wants. If the courts see her as the better parent to award the children to, so be it, they can decide to let her be stupid and make their lives miserable. My life, on the other hand, will not be made to be miserable. If she leaves, I lose the apartment…

Best course of action is to divorce and live together or live together until divorced can be afforded. She disagrees and would rather be homeless than continue to live with me. And if she becomes homeless and refuses to pay, I end up being unable to afford this place on my own, so I end up in my car anyway. This is why I'm questioning whether or not it's a good idea to just up and move into my car and out of the house now. At the very least so that she doesn't drag the children into homelessness…

I did a variation of that tactic when I left back to Boston back in February for a month. I came back due to all of the "men " I looked up to in Boston telling me how wrong I was and that I'm not a man if I am willing to be gone for so long. I had to practically beg her to come back. In the time that I spent out there, she just decided to enter herself and the kids into a homeless shelter. She doesn't give a shit what I do.

She's threatened to take herself and the kids to a shelter if I misbehave. She repeatedly throws in my face that if I dont do as she likes, she will take actions that lead to the suffering of herself and the little ones. This frightened me into obedience. It's been almost 2 weeks since i came across this sub, and I've only recently begun to apply RP principles to my life. I've come to accept that whatever she does is out of my hands. She can be a dickhead all she wants, I cannot allow myself to …

Funny enough I started recording after. She started to chuck my clothes and when I went to grab them she slapped me. Called the cops, show them and tell them everything. They say she'll be arrested. They talk to her, turns out no one will be getting arrested. Instead, they recommend I should leave for the night.. of course I should.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
