–	feminist myth of women earning $0.72 to a man's $1 repeated in u.s. presidential debate I don't see how that's realistically fixable without being more discriminatory. Do we discriminate against women who haven't (or cannot) have children by hiring women with less experience but who had children and therefore get some kind of "years at home with children counts as work experience" factor applied? 1	An interesting article on Rape Culture (a term I just learned) from /r/twoxchromosomes. Wanted to know what you guys think of this. Nope. That's a pretty well established causation, backed up by multiple different lines of evidence from different fields. Rape and circumcision have a much much more plausible link, and it's not a causal one, the evidence for a direct causal link of circumcision leading to increased propensity to rape is non-existent. Yeah, that occurred to me as well, that's much more believable than his claim. However the only reasonable common causal factors are at a pretty high level of abstraction, they are all large scale societal attitudes that are pretty far removed from real life. Things like attitudes towards young males and tradition, religion, wish for conformity. Nothing very specific. I think there is good evidence these days that pornography in a culture actually reduces the amount of sexual crime, and I don't immediately see a reason it would be different for those with more deviant sexual tastes either.
