I support it. I think we should encourage men to.... Idk the word exactly... Play? Play around with fashion and make up and such like women do. It's fun and can make you feel better about yourself. Men deserve those opportunities too.

I use Bioderma to remove it and it helps with the drying, but also moisturize at night after removing it.

This is the best answer. Highly recommend tinted sunscreen. I use Australian gold tinted and mix it with non tinted of the same brand to match my skin tone. It evens out your skin tone AND it protects you from sun damage and premature aging.

I think most of this can be explained by social expectations for men and women. Women are encouraged to have emotionally and platonically physical (like hugs, back dubs, holding hands) intimacy within their friendships. It's more acceptable for women to go on friend dates. For men, emotional and physical intimacy is not as accepted in society and so the most acceptable way for men to get those needs met are through a romantic relationship. It's not that women don't have these feelings, it's just…

Not all friendships are meant to last forever.

I disagree. I think of your social circle as a big circle with several rings within it. The innermost ring is your most trusted and intimate group and the further away you go from the center the less intimacy you share with those people or the looser the ties. But those relationships still have value and contribute to a sense of belonging. Some people have very close friendships with people at work, but may rarely meet up outside of work or introduce them to their family.

"Get a social circle" isn't dating advice. It's "how to live a happy life" advice. If you're only getting a social circle for dating though... The problem isn't your social circle or lack thereof, it's your approach to life. Friendships are relationships. They require effort, open communication, and intimacy. They are, in a lot of ways, practice/skills building for navigating romantic relationships. Making new friends and maintaining old friendships becomes more difficult as you get older bc of …

Yes, of course. It's generally for the same reasons that you listed. I'm unlikely to tell someone the exact reason why though, even if pressed. In most cases, being specific on why I don't want a second date is likely to cause more harm than good. There have been a few instances where I've given more specific feedback. If I feel someone has put me on a pedestal, I will tell them that bc I think that could be something they repeat with others and not realize it until someone points it out.

Is it speech pathology?

It is attractive if the person I am dating does small things like that to show they care. Gender roles don't really have anything to do with it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
