I think that black indicates that she may have been afraid for her life as well. This really didn’t belong here. The boyfriend killed the kid not her.

I’m late 50’s and have a home in a 55+ community. I posted something in the community’s page on Facebook. Some cougar(I asssume, as her account had grandkids pictures not hers) started commenting to me about how I look too young to own a home in the community! I looked like I’m in my 20’s. I had to tell her that when I was 18 I looked 30, so I guess now that I’m in my 50’s I’m reversing. Thought it was funny that she felt she had to comment on my appearence.

I’ve posted my opinion that she was a narcissist and ruined it for the left. Posted on Reddit, and of course, the leftists all had a meltdown. Sometimes the truth hurts. That’s why I hate putting anyone on a pedestal like they tried doing with RBG. We’re all human, we all have faults.

It turns out a lot of women are really into those “true crime” shows. I’m willing to bet not as many have been hurt as you’d think. They are probably so absorbed in those true crime stories they see every man as a potential murderer.

I never heard of this movie. As much as I’d like to flame these folks, I think this may just have been a bad marketing dept. They must not have advertised it enough. Or it was only promoted in the theatre’s which most of us have been staying away from.

I met my now wife when I was 17. This is one way that you see ugly guys with beautiful women. It doesn’t work for everyone. But, in some cases being adjacent (in the area) is as effective as being “high value” if you can make a connection via friendship first. I could have dated more when I was younger. But I may have missed out on the partner that allowed me to live a pretty happy life. I also have a theory that as you get older you get more “set in your ways”. We sort of grew up together and w…

Not sure this is something new. I know a guy that was a friend of my parents. He as far as I’m aware was never married. My dad claimed he was just too focused on money to waste it on women. Last time I saw him was my moms funeral. But he seems happy enough. Just focused on working and making money. Today I’d assume people would assume he’s gay, but I think he may have been asexual. Or perhaps being in a war screwed him up. He was a Korean era vet, but I’m not sure he had any front line service a…

What fantasy world are you in? I said older. Like a 20 or 30 year old marrying a 14-16 year old. That wouldn’t fly today. Was happening even among the royalty up to the 1900’s https://www.cpr.org/show-segment/child-marriage-common-in-the-past-persists-today/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_child_brides?wprov=sfti1

I thought 50 shades was written by a guy? That’s why the whole premise of the film(didn’t read book) seemed so over the top to me. The film at least seemed like a guys idea of what a women’s fantasy would be IMHO.

When it comes to humans I believe we err on the side of oversimplification. So obviously it is more then testosterone. But, if I had to point to one and only one issue that would be it to help describe the bull of the difference. It’s also our experience that counts. And society’s pressures. Let’s face facts, looking back at history it was quite common for older men to marry teenagers. Now because of changes in society that is frowned upon and illegal. Also ,women tend to be slut shamed more the…

I think it’s hormonal. Testosterone is a hell of a drug Now that I’m older and my testosterone levels have dropped I’m definitely less Perverted. It’s also why I believe women get more from the emotional attachment then men do.

I’ve seen that a few times and just thought it was kind cringe. I mean it’s kinda ballsy to just approach a stranger and hit on them. I just think if maybe you chatted a little before trying to get a date. For some reason it just seems like a cringe thing if you’re watching the moves from outside.

As an older guy it makes me slightly uncomfortable. But mainly because I don’t want to seem like a Perv staring at a gal that is young enough to be my daughter if I’m looking in that direction. I generally go to the gym early in the AM and at my gym at least, it tends toward middle aged or older during that time. After dinner it seems to turn into more of a meat market loaded with younger gals in tight outfits. So I generally avoid the gym when it’s packed. Or just stick to the treadmills if I g…

White collar criminals go to a nicer jail. It’s still jail, but it’s definitely nicer then most jails. Here’s a description of the jail Martha Stewart served time at : Known as "Camp Cupcake," FCP Alderson is said to be "America's cushiest prison." It's a 159-acre minimum-security prison camp, located near Alderson, West Virginia, which sits on the banks of the Greenbrier River. FCP Alderson was built in 1928 as the first federal prison for women, and employs a "reformatory" model of justice in …

Sure bud…… You’re really over the top now. They’d rather have their peehole halfway down their Dick and have to sit to pee otherwise they’d have piss all over their pants. Also, very unlikely to have kids of their own as their semen would be spilling out the vagina instead of shooting toward the cervix as nature designed? Keep grasping at straws you kook.

Some of us don’t have a choice. My son had hypospadias. His urethra opening was halfway down the penis. So if we wanted him to be normal they had to use his foreskin to reconstruct it. So even if we were against it we still had to get him circumcised.

“They need more to do so”? LOL- tell that to my former self. I had no problem with premature ejaculation despite being circumcised. It took a lot of self training to gain control. Masturbation is fine as well. Every individual is different. If you’re suffering from depression and taking anti depressant your more likely to suffer from the side effects you state. One small piece of skin does not affect everyone in the same way.

I still see my wife as the 16 year old I met almost 40 years ago. Once you firmly couple, despite gaining 40 pounds and 30 years you can still love that cute redhead you were attracted to 40 years ago. The problem is life and it’s stress gets in the way. The challenge is to NOT let that affect your relationship. Hold hands, open the car door for her, treat her as your equal. Do your best to keep the spark alive. If you choose marriage, you are a rebel. Show her you are looking to buck the narrat…

I think that’s a really twisted view of the world. Men are NOT taught to hate women. They are taught to not ACT like women. There’s a big difference. In prior generations men were taught to protect women and children. And the more physical aspects of being a male was promoted, while for females caring for children was paramount. So for a man to hide and not protect his wife and children would have been deadly. That “men were men” was part of our survival. In the intervening centuries we’ve manag…

Being overweight may contribute to lower testosterone production. Lower testosterone production reduces that drive for sex, and reduces aggression. So males will be less inclined to pursue a female and will probably be more anxious when doing so. Lower testosterone will also lead to less then stellar performance in the bedroom. This will lead the females to be more greatly disappointed.

LOL- so you totally bypassed my point. She was a millionaire over 100 years ago. During that time most of the rest of your premise was in full swing. She was responding to a market. But at the same time she was creating that same market. Her choices were the choices available to her customers. They could choose, or they could simply not participate. She made millions off of her choices as to what to offer. She was influencing what her market saw and wore. You talking about more recent trends and…

I read an article about the first American woman of African decent, Madam CJ Walker to become a millionaire. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madam_C._J._Walker?wprov=sfti1 So for over a hundred years, women have been designing and marketing makeup and hair care to other women. Women have influenced fashion and morals. You’re living in a fantasy land of the “helpless female” as much as an incel would. Women’s failure to reach orgasm is more of a lack of communication. Men don’t automatically know h…

I’ve sadly noticed that younger and younger folks are overweight or obese. I belong to group that shares old beach photos. It’s shocking when you look at old 1960’s beach photos and Everyone is at a healthy weight. Pretty much all ages are much thinner. Then look at the beach today. Yes, most older folks are overweight. But there is also a large percentage of younger folks that are overweight.

Pre-Covid I bartended(mainly Shirley temples) at a “Sweet sixteen” party. The birthday girl was heavyset. Dating was never any easier 50 years ago. Guys just didn’t whine about it as much. I used what I think is you dating philosophy to guide my life as well. Basically applying it more broadly. Look at what the winners are doing and try to replicate it as best you can. So that philosophy can apply to other parts of your life. Sitting around whining about things doesn’t help. Try and make the change you need.

No. I prefer to not have a thirsty dude chasing after my Ass. I think if guys had to put up with some of the creepy behavior that girls do there would be much more violence. I’m not a homophobe, but I really don’t want unsolicited Dick pics from a chubby chaser. My son was stalked by a crazy chick. Nobody likes that shit no matter what sex they are.

I think it’s mostly #2. The thrill of the chase. Once you’ve got the prize, you want the next bigger prize. It also the same response that keeps casinos and race tracks in business. I guess Wall St also Owes its existence to this. They are chasing the high they get from the pursuit and the win. Once they win they need that next price to stimulate that response again.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/21 09:32 AM

I’d say it’s easy for those that are considered “high value” on both sides. For women, if they are born attractive, and a great personality they really don’t have to do much as they are born with or taught how to highlight those “High Value” attributes. For men Handsome features, you are born with, usually that outgoing personality is from how you grew up. And if you are interested in a high value job you generally become a “High value” man due to your advantages. Those of us that are less attra…

Gee- I’ve always thought of myself as an introvert. But you described me pretty well. I don’t do good in groups and bars would have been a horrible way for me to try and meet women. As you said a lot of background noise overwhelms me and I can’t follow a conversation. I met my wife pre-Internet at work. Legal prostitution won’t affect dating. However, it affects marriage. Why get married if you don’t want/can’t have kids? A prostitute is cheaper. And less noise. You don’t pay for a whore to marry her. You pay for her to go away. Also married women can’t stand the fact that easy access to younger and more desirable women would devalue them. Besides locking men into a contract, they have to make sex illegal so access is barred to their husbands. Sex work will remain illegal as long as the bulk of…

Beside the love and commitment thing there is a lot of law codified around marriage. My state offered “civil unions” for gay couples, and I thought that was a good compromise as someone who’s is straight and thought of marriage the traditional way. My mom passed, and I was the executor. And that kind of opened my eyes to how much easier some things just are as a Married person as far as the law and inheritance goes. Well, in that case maybe his discomfort is in her “hiding the truth”? She gives him one number. Then I assume she gave him the higher number. What if next week it’s 200? So, not being truthful in the beginning would make me disrespect her. Also no mention of an age. I mean 37 at 30 may be OK, but 37 at 18 may be a little high. Also, as a guy in a similar situation, this bothered me more when I was younger, then it would now that I’m older as I’ve matured. I think body count matters if you have a…

I live in a state with restrictive gun licensing. If parents leave a gun available where kids can gain access then they are breaking the law. Your references to historical efforts taken to “control” women seem to be assuming it was only driven by men. That is really downplaying women’s contribution to even primitive societies. Women at many times went right along or promoted those traditions and passed them down in an effort to control future generations or in a misguided belief it would give their children a better life. Why that would that be driven by women? Lack of birth control! Unwanted pregnancy’s provided a huge burden to fami…

This was like 15-20 years ago so it was uncommon as tinder and the rest of the crap didn’t exist. It was a preplanned exercise to land a man. I don’t think D-Day took that much planning. It’s not just men. Observe single women that want a family when they near 30 (maybe the age is creeping up but whatever the current milestone is) they start feeling the clock ticking. So the solution is grab the first guy willing to get married and start a family. 3 years later, 5 years, 10 years, they divorce. She has her family, blames him, and moves on to the next victim. Maybe the fact that it’s less of an “embarrassment” to be a single mom now has lowered the number but this was pretty comm…

Hitting 30 years married this summer. So the answer is yes. But, marriage is a partnership and you both have to work at it. And that means give and take. And if you take the vows seriously (for better, for worse, in sickness and in health) you can stay together. If all you are relying on is your beauty and youth, well, youth inevitably passes as you age. You need to bring something to the relationship that’s more then that. As we’ve aged things have changed. I’d throw a monkey wrench into the whole list approach. People change. Couples change. Some actually start to synch values. So based on my almost 30 year experience being married, any, and possibly all of those items on that woman’s list may change. So it’s no “Magic list” that would throw off red flags. Sometimes opposites attract. And,I’d also offer, many times we don’t even know what WE want. Some items are kind of kooky. No religion? Like you actively seek someone with no moral compass? I co…

A guy I worked with and I were talking about a attractive coworker. His statement rings true. “No matter how beautiful she is are there is always someone out there that hates her guts”.
