Well, that explains a bit (all of my cousins are overseas in Asia). You definitely have to be more subtle and spend more time going back and forth. I think that you're doing fine (otherwise she probably wouldn't be talking to you everyday). Considering that you guys chat so often, it's pretty clear that you're interested in some way. It's good that you tell her to inform you of anything that she feels is "wrong" but you don't need to remind her every 5 minutes because after a while that can be a…

What are the examples of coming on too strong? I think it's relative to the girl you're dealing with and how well you know her. For a girl like me, telling me I look "hot" or that you'd "love to hook up" would be too strong if you're a complete stranger. I may smile and chat a little but you're not going further. Another girl may be more receptive under these circumstances. On the other hand, if you said the same things to me and we were friends, it would be a different story. how do I gauge the…

As /u/zomgitsduke said, let loose and relax. I'm a fellow boring and serious person at heart but in the past 2 years, I've made it a point to try and contribute to a lively conversation or party. Yes, the first couple of times it'll be awkward because you'll catch yourself midway and you may still make a mistake but it's ok- just keep trying an…

What type of women are you dating? Are you choosing ones who aren't ready for a serious relationship (too young, lots of baggage, etc.)? How is your approach with saying how serious you are about finding a LTR? As a female, I am ok with knowing that the end game may be marriage but there are certain things that may scare a woman off. Some things that scared me off include getting too serious too soon (I don't want keys to your apt/car after 2 dates- no sex involved) or involving the woman in ALL…

I agree with Confirmed- Confidence is key. I'm a girl who is forgettable and average looking in my normal, no make-up state. I made up my mind one summer to just talk to guys for practice and figure out what I was doing right and wrong (no sex). I started off with minor changes- my stance, posture, etc. and being a little more outgoing in starting conversations. I definitely made lots of mistakes initially but it happens to all of us- try to figure out what went wrong and try not to do it next t…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
