I don't comment much, but I'm an avid reader, and am constantly shouting "yesss!", nodding my head and throwing out upvotes like I'm Oprah. I'm also constantly triggered by reading and realizing truth, but of course those get upvotes, too. I agree that it takes and costs nothing to show that simple method of support (and I also noticed it's a great way to see what I've already read, as you mentioned, too)! ☺

I used to think this way. I pay for my items to avoid any potential expectations (not just sex). I never before realized that this is a symptom of internalized misogyny. Mind blown. It's been a few years now that I have been accepting offers to be treated as a simple gesture (and I do the same at times as well, moreso towards women). It also took me quite some time to process and let go of the 'guilt' of accepting someone's offer to pay, too. But how bad is that?! Instead of feeling gratitude th…

Lol, they think they're negging us and implying something is wrong with us, when in fact, that's exactly why we're single - we are a catch. Too good for all these LVM's and won't settle for bullshit. Men and women alike still can't seem to comprehend it.

This whole post (edit: and subsequent comments) makes me so rage-y. So triggered right now 😒😤

This shit gets me so triggered. Doesn't matter if it's a guy or gal doing it. We are all adults - pull your own damn weight around the space you live in!

At least you're no longer stuck living with a N/LVM. You get to be free again and focus on building yourself up 🤗 hugs

I gotcha. Actually, yeah, I think you're right. I should stand up to some bs more often, not just be "the bigger person". I did actually recently lose someone who I thought was a friend at work because I started giving his 'type of humor' back to him. He found out I was dating a lady, and his jokes suddenly felt more gendered and attacking. I told him I don't appreciate them, but it continued. I then started responding in the like, and not only was he taken back, but he was also offended. I sugg…

True. I have a chest that's on the smaller side, and in the past few years I've experienced significant hair thinning. I'm sure I'm mocked and not considered "good enough", but I also know that anyone (male or female) who is that judgemental isn't HV, or who I'll 'click' with. I suppose I was projecting when I commented that i can't get behind mocking genetic factors. My comment was not meant to be in defense of men who themselves are hypercritical of uncontrollable genetic factors.

I do definitely see the double standard. I didn't mean to feed into that and be a part of it (when I initially made my comments, I didn't consider myself as defending men, rather just voicing that I do not agree with attacking factors beyond a person's control). I see my error in judgment/commenting/choice of words.

I wasn't trying to diss anyone, I thought I already mentioned that. Just because a lot of men are shitty humans for mocking women for factors beyond our control, doesn't mean we/I have to do the same. I honestly thought receding hairlines were purely hereditary, and didn't know about the connection to excessive masturbation/porn consumption. Once informed, I read up on it, and accepted new information put towards me. Apologies that I've accidentally been offensive.

I agree. I'm also against mocking things that are beyond one's control. Hair is genetic, whether that be facial hair, hair on heads, or elsewhere. Yes, there are some measures of grooming that can be taken, and if one truly wants to, there are some other methods as well (topical, surgical, etc.) But those aren't accessible to all, nor do they always work. Just do the best with what's in your control. It's still easy to recognize self-care, personal hygiene, and internal qualities even if one doe…

I think talk about hair loss is similar to that of height. It's hereditary. It sucks that some have to deal with it earlier than others. This goes for men and women too, though women typically experience thinning, instead of a receding hairline. While we all want someone who takes care of themselves, I can't get behind mocking genetics. (Not saying you are, just replying to the quote/comment)

The lady I've been dating does this with me too. So nice, and we both get to enjoy and try new things.

THIS!! I say this to people all the time (especially when they are lamenting about a lack of partner, or venting about poor behaviors). There are so many types of love, no need to subject yourself to LVR (low value relationships).

A few years ago I was rooming with a girl friend, and a new male roommate joined the house. I began finding skid marks on the back of the toilet seat literally every day. It was absolutely disgusting and mind-blowing. I couldn't imagine the physics of it. But what especially pissed me off was his sheer ignorance - so lazy and rude to leave it to the women to take care of. I actually moved out shortly after, though, because I was tired of living with sloppy people who just left their messes to ot…

To your point about male and female anatomy, and how we derive pleasure, it's quite simple: Male: penile stimulation and anal access to the prostate Female: clitoral stimulation and vaginal access to the g-spot In general, of course - this is just a simplified comparison for the thick-headed lurkers. People derive pleasure from a variety of things, and all bodies are built differently. This is just to stress upon the point that women don't need anal sex, nor are we the ones that typically seek i…

Lmao, also clearly shows their lack of intellect with how they use/define 'alone' - as in, oh no!, we're not tied to a LVM. Nevermind all the other myriad of relationships a person can have. We'll all be quite fine, thanks. Also, methinks that chant of theirs is mere projection, haha.
