Its not about "getting away" with anything, its about men and women being treated equally when it comes to sentencing. No one is saying that the man shouldn't have gone to jail, they're saying that the woman should have received the same sentence for the same crime.

Whats wrong with men's rights? The are certain areas of our society that grant lenience to people just because they are women (primarily the justice system). Just like women should be treated the same as men in politics and academia, women should be trialed and sentenced the same as men. Those other things are absolutely absurd.
