Good luck with that, but I'm afraid your going to be upset when you experience it first hand. As for your later point, I'm not blaming females for their lack of convoying, I blame military leadership which dictates that women are exempt from going into heavy hit areas even when their support role is needed there (Commo,MI,MP,Mech,Medic,etc..).

Have you deployed with this unit? If so, how did your unit utilize the 10% of females? I have met three females who have been in combat too, they are far and few between.

Surely if there are not front lines the Taliban would be hitting the major fobs and airbases every week with mortar rounds... after all more chance for success with a greater number of clustered people. The Taliban and local alike will attack any given convoy, it's funny however when the convoys being hit are the ones the further distance from the fobs and out towards the cops... you know, the convoys that you will rarely see a female on.

If there are no front lines in Afghanistan how is that the female fatality rate among armed forces (all countries in NATO) only account for 1.5% of total fatalities? Front lines are outside of the fobs, something many females never step foot outside of while on deployment.

I see. The fetus will develop into a baby that will survive outside of the womb an astonishingly high amount of the time. As stated elsewhere, if you're in line with this view, is this not simply redefining killing life as placing a hold on life that is developing and then discarding it? Either way you are preventing life that will be.

Rape is a small minority (at least from what statistics show) and I could see why a woman would want an abortion in said situation. It's still killing a life, but then again it might kill the woman with depression, so it's a iffy situation. killing cells is not killing a life they are cells that may become a life but not yet are. So you're saying it's halting life? Isn't that essentially the same? When does life begin in your opinion?

The fertilized egg involuntarily develops. The sperm and egg come together voluntarily 98% of the time. In cases of rape, I would be against aborting personally; I could see why people would be for aborting in this scenario however.

A single sperm cell will never develop into a human. A single unfertilized egg will never develop into a human. Most people understand this concept. When the two are joined together however, it ceases being a simple sperm cell or a simple unfertilized egg, it starts the development of a human life. My statement was simplified to an absolute to make a point. Anyway you look at it, an abortion is killing life, the very thing that pro-life people argue against. You're correct, pro-choice advocates don't push for the abortion of every fetus; this does not however remove the fact they are advocating to eliminate life: human life to be exact. *
