And the reverse? As a woman to a nice guy, if I'm forward that I enjoy spending time with you, and would like to continue. It seems like I end up pushing too hard ? I'm not asking for marriage, just clarifying the 'do you like me part' and I get the response, of let's not rush things. (Most recent we work together so I get it) but why doesn't the reverse seem to work

Text with purpose, not just to say hey what's up. I'm going to this thing with friends in Friday, do you want to come? Did you hear about what happened at work today? Have you watched Stranger things, it's a show I think you'd like.

It's good to text with a purpose. Just saying hey what's up, won't guarantee anything. But if you say, hey I'm going to this festival on Friday with some friends, do you want to come? It's more inviting and you contacted for a reason.

Why do you need to isolate her, sometimes just flirting among other people, like stealing a look and a smile while in conversation with someone else, or touching her shoulder when you speak to her will get things rolling

It's the way of the touch. Touching in general such as a high 5, shows comfort and a level of friendship. Body language while touching, if you don't look at me or you're clearly tired when you give me a high 5 it's not intimate. But if you hold eye contact with me and smile while you give me a high 5, or touch my knee while talking, or find reasons to be close to me to make things slightly intimate, the attraction grows.
