I love how the comments in the article are missing the point. Everyone deserves love at every age, but when your grandchildren are older than your partner, there's something wrong. You're not going to grow old together, you're going to be around for maybe 10 more years, then die and leave her to raise the child herself which the rest of the family argues over the inheritance.

Thank you for sharing this. I've been dealing with my pattern of obsession in therapy for years, so any new resources I come across are always appreciated.

His mum forced him to apologise and made him go to therapy for 6 months. Is she legally allowed to marry someone who's clearly under-age from the sounds of it?

Oh wow. I was waiting for him to tell on himself even further like he hasn't showered in a month, barely wipes his ass and can't believe sitting in his caravan eating the $2 menu from kfc or whatever isn't an acceptable date option that HE had to pay for. I think he said it all when he got mad about women being called queens and being told not to settle. I hvm would support that and agree that women do deserve the best.

If I could give you an award for this, I would.

It's funny that while I get that a guy may feel trapped by marriage since I've known a few who were pressured into it, but overall I feel like it's women who are trapped. They're the ones who are typically stuck raising the kids while the men go about their lives. Even though times have changed, there's still plenty of places where women are nothing without a man and must find one, or risk shame and social exclusion, etc. I think it's more common for a man to leave if he's not getting what he wa…

I remember learning that in my later teens and being outraged when I learnt about a king in the bible who killed his wives or babies because they didn't give him a male/weren't born male. Like God forbid a man and a king at that take responsibility for his own shortcomings. I get that they probably had no idea at that time, but it still annoys me greatly.

I feel this! A few years ago I'd initiated something with my bros bff who I'd been interested in for about 2 years prior and who'd become basically part of the family since mum passed on. We talked constantly for about a week and I rescheduled plans at the end of the week with my cousin (who was also my flatmate at the time) to have dinner with him. After that he didn't text, when previously I'd get one at the start of the day like clockwork. I waited a few weeks and still nothing. My friend sai…

It's kinda funny that part of my motivation for getting a degree was to meet guys, but my study and work schedules made socialising a challenge, so that didn't happen. Now I've got an arts degree and fully intend on getting a PhD one day. This makes me want to make that happen even more. Congratulations to everyone who's made that their reality!

It's funny that after going to church for 18 years, the first time I'd ever heard of Lilith was when a friend I met at a spiritual group told me about her. She was never mentioned in the bible or any stories I'd ever been told and quickly became a favourite of mine.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
