The Christian Bale incident seems to be only generally covered by that article. Bale was still upset over the death of his friend Heath Ledger, and apparently this mother said / acted negatively towards his wife, which made him lose his temper. There's no indication of an actual assault. There's some minor differences between the two sides of the story, which I'd expect, but it seems that Christian Bale is very protective where his wife is concerned. So this seems more like a dispute between two…

Women have more choices in clothes, true, but their clothes aren't made to the same quality of materials - they aren't made to last. Also their size systems are messed up or aren't accurate. Or shops sell clothes for stick insects and hide the larger, normal sizes. We men might not get a lot of choices, but at least that favourite t-shirt will be with us for years to come.

The mother certainly like the typical anti-vaxxer crank. Blames everything on some immunisations at school, won't put her kid on proscribed medicines, trying nonsense like "holistic" treatments. It'll also be good when science gives us control over our bodies such that we actively don't expel sperm unless we want to, and end unwanted pregnancies with one fell swoop. You'd expect a huge spike of penile cancer if that was the case, but only 400 men a year in the UK are diagnosed with penile cancer out of a total male population of 29.9 million (2008 stats). No, they're running rampant amongst the section of men who get disproportionality more action than the rest of us. I'd say gay figures are probably 2-3% at most. I've seen that 10% figure kicked around for years, but it seems extremely high.
