I don't know what kind of tactics your mom uses... but I've never had a problem getting anyone to listen to me. That's kind of what I feel about this graph. I feel like a significant amount of women's issues are left out of here. For instance, we pay a luxury tax on tampons. Women bleed once a month and they tax it because it's a luxury item? (I've made the argument because it's not a cup they should be taxed, but HEY, they are taxing the cup now too so fuck that.)
