Second that. Being at the forefront means that you have to deal with PR and more drama which is draining Better to be 2nd in command and lead the troops from behind the scenes

Eastern culture tells them that working toward your careers/making money is the way to success. This tends to have parents push kids into being lawyers, doctors, STEM at the cost of social life and interaction. Western culture tells you to follow your heart/dreams and everything will work out. This tends to lead kids towards sports, acting/modeling, start ups. The rewards are high if things work out but terrible if things fall through Neither is 100% right or 100% wrong. Parents just do what the…

25 is a reasonable enough amount of years before 30+. Some women hit it a little earlier and some a little later Doesn't sound like she has any red flags atm and just a lot of good points. Just stay the course and keep your eyes open, you are young and probably still figuring out what you want. The world isn't black and white and there will always be risks/rewards. Make the best decision you can with the info you have at the time and live your life with no regrets.

Nice, way to cut out the bs and get down to the core. So much emotional logic and jumping to conclusions

People want to feel they've earned something, even if they aren't aware that is what's going on. Also humans like contrast, it's interesting. It makes us feel like something is changing. Colors, shapes, movement, emotions, etc. Otherwise everything is just the same, stale, bland. Human progression comes from people wanting something new, something better than what exists. It's how we've evolved and survived. Being an asshole/jerk all the time is just as boring as being nice all the time. So pred…

Sounds like you do want to fuck her still but have realized that being her friend isn't the way to get to that and are backing away from that. Take some more time to really think about what you want and why. You don't owe her anything just like how she doesn't owe you anything. If you feel like reciprocating the time she was there for you then that is another thing. Also just think of all the time you have given her already, don't just discount that.

Asian American here. TRP has help put into words and concepts that I've always observed but never could put my finger on exactly what was wrong. It has been quite a progression, reading though many past blogs, forums, articles, etc and finally ending up here. While I don't agree with all the concepts, I understand them and hope to use this knowledge to ultimately figure out what I want in my life. I also don't have the typical group of Asian friend, I would say it is an overall mix of white, Asi…

I like your point A. Nice twist on standard, boring questions that make them seem more engaging.

Basically you have to judge if their "fault" is a big deal, enough to not be friends with them. If it is a dealbreaker, don't be friends with them. If not then just cope and deal with it. Which involves what you just said, don't tell someone a secret if you know they have a hard time keeping secrets. If a friend flakes, see if it is a one time thing or if it is something the do often and just deal with it. People have different standards, just because you feel something is very important doesn't…
