I don't understand why we can't have this simple rule (accusers hate it!): If it turns out you lied in any step of the prosecution of an innocent person, you shall inherit their sentence, starting from day 1.

Prenups are not some sort of magical "Get out of paying" card. There are many ways to attack them. It depends on your jurisdiction. Some ways Prenups can blow: Other party has been married long enough to be used to a lifestyle they are entitled to keeping up. Other party was coerced. Other parties circumstances have changed significantly enough that the prenup is no longer applicable. Think kids, illness, .. IANAL but went through a messy divorce and learned a lot of things. Generally, as far as…

I already replied to you earlier but that was a quick gesture to make sure you know your comment was appreciated. The topic goes so deep and gets so dark, I oftentimes feel like I need to start a movement. And maybe I will. In a nutshell, and I am not trying to speak for you or your father, but fathers who are good dads are easy for mothers to shut down. The means are many, and they are terrifying. It is very easy to get Child Protective Services to your house and interview the kids, for instanc…

I'm a father in exactly that situation, and I have no way to fight it. Silence from me is the only way for ME to keep half ways sane. It's a very destructive thing for all involved, except the asshole mother. Sorry this happened to you, I'm glad you see your dad now. I'm longing for that day every day.

My ex has done this to the extreme and I am not able to see my children at all anymore. It's absolutely horrendous and I can't fix it and I'm very much broken about this. All I can say is fuck the family court and fuck the entitlement she gets because she is the mother.

I can tell you from real court experience that what was said is true: in some courts, fathers are very much second class citizens. I've been at the receiving end of it and it fucks up a lot of shit. And that pussy pass was not denied, it was doubled down on and confirmed. It's too expensive and exhausting to fight it so I've let it go. Fuck shit ass cunts like this "That's not what I've been told" whore bag.

It happens organically for the most part. After a while you see them paying their bills and rent (or not..) and you see how they spend their money or save it. You can tell a lot without even asking.

"Stable income" is good enough. They can find out way later what that income actually is. People want to make sure you can hold a job, that's entirely reasonable from the get-go. I agree with you that salary listings are complete bullshit, plus people lie anyway.

It should be free if the man can walk away for free. The very moment a financial decision walks in, the paying party is put at a disadvantage, which is the contention in OP. Planned Parenthood deserves public funding, and abortions should be free, if you take the stance of OP.

I made it very clear to my lawyer what my goals are, specifically end goals, and for the most part I reached those. The opposing party hired an ambulance chaser who would call me names in court, send outrageous and stupid email, couldn't really make stick what he wanted to make stick. He was just out of law school. Cheap and bad. In my case it was clear that the $300/hr lawyer with about 30 years of experience beat the shit out of the $150/hr newbie.

You need a good lawyer, not a cheap one, which is the only way I stayed above water when that cock roach of a woman tried every dirty trick in the book to get more. If you have kids involved, start family therapy with them even before the divorce; chances are they know anyway.

Care to explain why? What is it about disability.. because he earned it in a war? What real difference does that make? I resent having to pay 1/2 of my earnings in a civilian job, including my 401k, why should this guy have an exemption?

So when he got married he had no idea that half his shit can be taken? Oh, disability checks are somehow different. He "bought her a house" in compensation? What? "I don't believe the American people want to be paying for people who didn't serve" blah blah what? "The American people" pay the same amount but this guy has to throw away half. I've interpreted TRP to give men tools to be men with open eyes who can enjoy life for what it is. I've also found that life as it goes on changes your goals, ideals, world view. Yours seems very cornered and your strong dismissal of "pussy" and "primitive lust" sounds to me like you've been busy painting. If you view women as vagina containers and LTRs as begging shitfests that your hand and ejaculation can make up for, it is indeed better for you to be alone and wank until you're dead. In the …

Yeah, the gloating in itself is not the problem. The indirect effect can be very strong, as in, her having proof that he knowingly misled her, abused her etc. That guy is not smart.

The statistics are one thing and I won't even attempt to deny them. But after a horrible divorce and finding a woman who not only does not need me, but craves me and loves me, well I have to say it's worth considering the odds. And making smart choices, and not going for hot/crazy whores.

Pretty meh list. If the woman earns her own money and doesn't spend yours, she can buy whatever she wants. Unless you already made the mistake of completely merging finances. The rest is fairly lame. Make him feel bad by not talking, then rattling off your list and quickly leaving? Not gonna work.

Happened to me, happens to many men. Read a lot of TRP after that and while some of it is just too hardcore for me (and more applicable to younger guys, I'm >35) I've read and applied things to my current (new) relationship that really help making it work and keeping it balanced.

Over the long haul that will not hold up because the "beautiful" will fade and the "Sane" will become less over time as well. I have learned to go for Smart and Sane, beauty is a bonus but not the focus.

I still exercise chivalry. I will say there is a difference between holding a door open casually, or holding it open facing the woman you hold it open for with a face that says "thank me". When I hold a door open it's in a casual motion that says "I do this because I am being nice and not expecting thanks". In all my life, I'm 40, I have never been met with weirdness or "you don't have to do this". You could call this beta, I call it being nice and just adding a little positive charge to someone…

This is exactly what is happening to me right now, only I am still fighting in court. She has actually convinced my kid of wrongdoings that never happened, so this is very twisted. Luckily so far, none of her allegations have stuck because of lack of evidence, but it has destroyed the relationship with my kid because well, they believe mom cause she's with them most of the time. Do confront her, but be ready because that's a house of lies she will not let collapse easily.

Isn't it true that in some states, audio recording is only admissible in court if both parties consented to it? I think in PA, for instance, that is the case. You know what helps this process immensely? Find someone to talk about cooking with. Show off your little accomplishments and keep trying new things. I do that and it motivates me greatly. I can't begin to express my disgust at the "busy mom" routine which involves a lot of complaining, way too many activities so the children have zero downtime, and lack of good, healthy family meals. The god damn minivans packed full of kids with the "busy mom" behind the wheel acting all frazzled because Jimmy has soccer at Noon and "you know how it is, just so busy, so we'll get McDonald's." I divorced a woman who suddenly decided that this "old school" arrangement does not work for her anymore and she stopped cooking and cleaning. She had no real skills, just didn't want to either work outside the home or inside. LOL. That's after 15 years. Some dyke put a bug in her ear about standing up for herself.
