… I do listen to his actions. His actions have shown nothing but loyalty and honesty. Again, you’ll never be happy in life if you sit around convinced all men are just waiting to betray you the first chance they get. Learn the signs and vet to find one of the good ones

But I believe him. There’s no point in any deep human connection if you don’t take people at their word. I refuse to be a cynic

I don’t think that’s true of all men, it certainly isn’t of my husband. He’s complimented my grandma’s appearance for example who I get a lot of my looks from and said that if that’s what I look like when I get old he’ll be a very lucky man (for reference she’s just a regular old lady who tries to take care of herself, she’s not even thin or anything out of the norm). He’s expressed multiple times that he’s not interested in cheating because that’s not conducive to his goal of having a loyal fam…

Hypergamy - the practice of always looking for a higher status or “better” partner even if you already have one Foid - shortened form of female humanoid. Derogatory term most widely used by incels and other communities that dislike women. Any conversation that this is said in is probably not worth engaging with

I would feel yucky and objectified and probably like he doesn’t see women as people the same as men

I know approximately from how big a guy has to be to hit my cervix, but also from that I know that it’s extremely variable. I don’t think it’s as simple as one length for us, I think it’s more of a range depending on position and arousal level.

From your post history it’s pretty clearly kinky shit in the bedroom

That’s totally fair! I work in a blue collar job so that’s mostly from my personal experience too, everyone is definitely different

Lawyer hubby here, definitely more attractive to me. I feel like they tend to have a lot of drive and confidence, plus suits are super hot! I do get the rugged charm of blue collar work, but I feel like that sort of guy can sometimes be less intellectual and they might have a lower standard for home cleanliness which would bother me a lot.

Girl gently there is literally no point in continuing anything with someone who you say there is no future with. It sucks now but it will suck so much more when you’ve wasted who knows how much more of your twenties with someone who you already know isn’t going to be your husband.

I just got engaged at the two year mark (feel like it’s a good middle of fast but not so fast that people judge) and we had been sold on wanting to marry each other I would say about a year in. We looked at rings like six months ago so I could say what size and style I wanted

I think if you’ve agreed to let it go, you have to just let it go. You’re allowed to feel hurt, but ultimately this seems like a small mistake and giving him grace will benefit you more in the long run.

I would say that changing your fashion choices will probably help. I was extremely masculine presenting and found inspiration in kpop styling and french fashion. I still would say that I dress uniquely compared to the girls I see around me, but I incorporate a lot more skirts and dresses in a way that makes me feel elegant and/or sexy rather than matronly. I think it’s helped me shift my mindset to be more soft in my interactions and confident in my appearance, which has in turn led me to be tre…

I’m in a similar male dominated field, and I’ve also historically dressed exclusively in men’s clothing (way easier to shop and more comfortable). What changed things for me was changing my wardrobe. It’s amazing how much easier it is to be on your feminine energy when you look and feel pretty/cute or however you want your vibe to be.

I’m one of them! I have some conservative values but I would define myself as liberal

I hope you do too! The important part is not to compromise on what you’re looking for in a partner, it’ll be worth the wait ❤️

It’s been two years so my memory is a bit fuzzy but I think I was only looking for like two months before I found him

I used Hinge and was just personally both patient and ruthless on my swipes. I didn’t waste time on any matches that didn’t have long term or life partner on their profile, plus other personal preferences like no smoking.

This is not the space to ask advice from women, it says in the sub guidelines under the “if you are a man” heading.

I believe that refers to the common question in dating “What do you bring to the table?”. The pink pill response would be “I am the table”, implying that women do not have to contribute anything to a relationship and bring value simply in being a relationship with a man.

I compliment my man every day about everything. Men really don’t get enough compliments, especially on their appearance. Pay attention to what sort of compliments he responds best to, and in my case he also tells me how much he appreciates being told certain things which helps!

Chronically ill and have gone through the same issues here. Our solution was that when we start a conversation about our day, I will ask if he wants to hear the bad parts or if he wants to keep it light. That way, he can decide when he has the right headspace to hear me complain or not and his agency as my partner isn’t taken away. If he wants to keep it light I can say something like “not feeling the best, but today I had fun doing x” so he’s still somewhat kept in the loop without being bogged…

I don’t think that’s actually up to you to decide whether a breast reduction is necessary or not. You’ve never had to live with big breasts, you have no idea how much pain it can cause.

It’s simply been calories in calories out for me. I’ve lost 40lbs so far, partly in preparation to become a wife. The cider will cut into your daily calories a bit but if it’s necessary then you’ll just have to eat a bit less or have a smaller deficit/slower weight loss. Personally I would do weight loss this way again (and am still doing it this way), because I still eat all the same foods I like just in smaller portions using a food scale.

I personally don’t have to/see the need. It’s something I will occasionally use (maybe once a month), and it’s something he uses but is trying to cut back on. He used to use it daily and then recognised it was becoming an addiction so he’s made an active effort to greatly reduce the frequency. I haven’t pried about how often he uses it now, I trust his discretion.

I personally do, but we’ve had the engagement, marriage, and kids talk so we know what timeline and arrangement we want.

I found my man on hinge by doing a few things. I only used one app to limit the number of matches I got, I only swiped on people who said in their bio they were looking for a life partner, and in our first conversation I did not bother with much small talk and asked a few basic questions about life goals. My guy says that my approach was very refreshing and made me seem confident, because I knew what I wanted and didn’t want to waste time with someone who wasn’t also looking for the same thing

I had a wonky path to it. I grew up in a conservative Christian home, and so have been exposed to happy traditional marriages. I didn’t think much of the dynamic because growing up I found myself much more liberal than my family, atheist and bisexual. Honestly it all changed when I met my current (and last!) partner. I’ve always enjoyed doing things for my partner like cooking and dressing up cute but he was specifically always so encouraging when I would act and dress more femininely and mature…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
