Do u rlly think conversations on Reddit are only limited to the OP and the poster of a reply
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/26 02:35 AM

Because they don’t like the fact that they aren’t in control of real women’s bodies
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/26 11:14 PM

I wonder why u and other men never seem to want to have the conversation of male victims getting justice and cared for. Where are ur guys’s programs? Where are ur guys’s organizations? Where are ur guys’s speeches? What are YOU actually doing to help?

Any kind of rape can be painful. Ur not taking into account how the person is being restrained.

So then how is victim blaming language so common? Who made the idea and system that men’s suffering or emotions don’t matter (other men/toxic masculinity), and yes tf we are how could u even argue that seriously??
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 03:41 AM

Strangely enough you and ur peers are not representative of all women in relationships 🤔
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/26 02:23 AM

Exactly

Because being raped will always be worse and more traumatic? When women are asking men to have empathy for us we’re not asking for it to be about little inconveniences, we’re asking men to be cognizant and empathetic to the fact that women face sexual violence at a higher rate then men, women are losing their their rights and having them violated on the daily, gender based violence is and has been an immensely problematic issue. Comparing that to a few men every year getting falsely accused and …

Oh? Proof??

Well it’s not her fault 😭

That’s my bad I should’ve clarified that by modern I mean the 1880s and early 1900s-now
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/26 08:58 PM

👍
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/26 08:55 PM

Then they should get their heads out if their ass and notice that their partner is uncomfortable or barley reacting
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/26 08:54 PM
2

Well I mean it does depend but when a women is happy and single usually she’s happy to have freedom of creativity and being whereas men turn it into an attack on women as a whole
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/26 05:14 PM

I said “modern” relating to men not crying or acting chivalrous, not any of what u just said
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/26 03:25 PM

I’m aware…why are u replying to me abt this😭
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/26 03:22 PM

There’s still a pay gap, and women unproportionally get sexually assaulted
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/26 03:18 PM
-1

Well yes feminism is supposed to give women equal rights so there wouldn’t be any benefit for men (at least not how you’d think) because they wouldn’t need it
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/26 11:53 AM

Who do u think created our modern idea of masculinity? A woman??
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/26 06:07 AM
6

Why are u getting downvoted for this 😭
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/26 06:03 AM

How?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/26 06:01 AM

That’s so contradictory cuz now that women are starting to care less and less abt men and male loneliness men are saying it’s a problem. First we don’t care enough now we care too much??
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/26 06:00 AM
-1

I mean did u expect a movement around women’s rights to center how men feel??
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/26 05:59 AM
1

“Defective women”??
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/26 05:58 AM
2

I feel like both sides do that
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/26 02:11 AM
3

Are u insane?? How tf are u comparing the two?? A false allegation can get cleared up and go away but someone getting raped sticks with them forever no matter what. The fact ur trying to make the two equivalent is just stupid and perhaps maybe don’t speak for other men cuz id hope they aren’t as disgusting as you.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/26 02:07 PM
5

Oh? So ur denying that society’s ideas of what masculinity is has created issued for both men and women? Why do u think men have the higher suicide rate? Why do u think women are subjugated to so much violence? Why do u think we live in a rape culture? I could keep going
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/26 03:49 AM
1

U think we can? U think men gaf what we think??
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/26 03:06 AM
3

Do u have any statistics to prove that false accusations are as common as rape?? And of course men who have been raped by women matter, no one is saying they don’t, but factually it is less common and it’s not a coincidence that it’s only brought up whenever the topic of a woman/women being raped.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/26 02:03 AM
2

Could you give some examples of this just so I can understand ur point better
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/26 03:32 PM
1

These questions are fine just not from people who are uninvolved. If you’re hearing someone you *do not know* speak about their assault then it’s entirely inappropriate to grill them as if you have any business asking them those questions. And it also doesn’t matter at what point the consent is removed, if it’s gone it’s gone and the other person should stop immediately.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/26 03:31 PM
2

I mean I would say toxic masculinity impacts like 90 percent of men in some capacity but also there is a growing true lack of respect for women and I don’t think it’s the same as (some) women not respecting men because the respect women are asking for is in terms of human rights as opposed to empathy towards feelings
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/26 03:24 PM
3

It is though! The person in questions was being pushed into saying yes, it wasn’t consensual or something they actually wanted to do. That is sexual coercion. Women aren’t being “corralled into the victim field” they’re just genuine victims.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/26 03:16 PM
2

Men are way more likely to be sexually assaulted than be accused of it however you’d assume the opposite based on the inadequate attention given to false accusations. I do agree there should be “precaution” before believing the potential victim but there also shouldn’t be immediate distrust or shaming in any capacity.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/26 03:01 PM
6

I mean I’m referring to how men (at large) seldom listen to women in regards to the respect they have for women, or toxic masculinity. I don’t think anyone’s arguing women are perfect though.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/26 02:57 PM
3

Who said I didn’t? I wish that statistic was more well known though. I also think men need to also start attacking toxic masculinity and how many men still don’t take other men’s rape seriously!
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/26 02:47 PM
2

Fair enough I’ll use that instead
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/26 02:40 PM

Omfg the term can change depending on the context!! Also here’s the link: https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/sexual-coercion

Medical News Today: “The nature of sexual coercion can vary significantly, from persistently asking for sex until someone gives in to threats of violence or revenge. “

A words definition can change based on the context of its use 🤯
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/26 02:23 PM
3

I literally said “Medical News Today” how are u still confused abt my source?? The “intimidation” can come from repeatedly asking and lastly I think the definition ur referring to may not be talking about coercion within the context of sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/26 02:17 PM
3

Exactly!!
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/26 02:02 PM
2

Where did prostitution come from?? And I don’t actually care what u “claim” rape is, the fact is coercion is rape and what I’ve been mentioning is coercion

/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/26 01:49 PM

I agree with men being taught enthusiastic consent but not the other part. Out of curiosity what would u consider women not being clear enough?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/26 01:45 PM
6

Wouldn’t you want your partner to be enthusiastic and genuinely want to have sex rather than it being something they’re doing purely for you??
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/26 01:39 PM
8

Nope coercion has always included persistent asking because the partner trying to have sex knows that if they ask enough their partner might eventually just do it to make them stop asking. Coercion could also be manipulative as well by trying to guilt trip them. And it can in fact be taking “maybe/idk/I guess” as an answer. Coercion is not just the threat of physical force, it’s deeply concerning you don’t know this.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/26 01:38 PM
12

For fucks sake being falsely accused of rape is not a daily occurrence, i don’t understand why men are so caught up on it when there’s a very high chance it will never happen to them or anyone they know.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/26 01:30 PM
7

Coercion is also repetitive asking. One no should be the end of it. An idk or anything adjacent to it is also a no. If it’s not a yes it’s a no. Why is that so hard for men to understand???
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/26 01:28 PM
2

There are signs people will leave that they aren’t interested in having sex and if someone truly respected or cared about the person they wouldn’t ignore them
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/26 01:24 PM
1

Do u think men would listen to women if they tried to help yall because we have and nothings come of it
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/26 01:21 PM
6

“Pumped and dumped”….??
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/26 01:19 PM
8

You act like men would listen to women if they tried to help solve men’s issues
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/26 01:18 PM
1

That’s because that’s an issue that society is upholding (but it’s created by men) whereas men’s issues are (literally) man made and even if society perpetuates them men have no body stopping them from ending their issues (for example: toxic masculinity can easily be ended if men just collectively stop believing in the ideology *I know it’s not that easy or simple but my point is it’s not something a separate group created and put onto them*)
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/26 01:17 PM
2

I mean if that’s what some women want then what’s the problem?? It’s not hurting anyone. This also goes both ways, I hope ur aware.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/26 01:16 PM

But the thing is there are too many cases of incels or men who do just outright hate women or have a personal vendetta against them causing extreme harm in a way that just dosent compare to men. I’d be interested to see if their any cases of murder against a man solely because of him being a man, because I have definitely never seen it.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/25 01:29 PM

When it comes to things like this, whether it’s beliefs that men are all terrible or that all white people are bad people love to say that it’s “giving an excuse” or creating more problems which is some ways it is but it also undermines that there has always been racism, homophobia and in this case sexism. Putting even an ounce blame on anyone but the aggressor who’s doing the actual harm by being physically and/or systematically abusive is both redundant and harmful because it creates loopholes…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/25 04:15 AM

For one, there are no studies that link misandry as a direct link to more female homicide and SA besides a few one off cases that aren’t enough to create a concrete link, secondly misogynists and the overall oppression of women has existed for centuries, do I think misandry is pointless, for sure, but do I also think that there is no comparison to be made between misogyny and misandry given the effects of both are in no way comparable.

I love when I find people of all different beliefs making good points, it reminds me that there almost every side has a good thing to add to the conversation

Honestly it’s not even princess treatment, not wanting to be the one putting in all the effort of initiating the relationship by “chasing” the person they’d like is pretty fair and reasonable

What “imaginary” things are u talking abt?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/25 07:21 PM

Also another thing that’s interesting is that, from what I’ve experienced men online are less likely to be open to or compliment women that don’t fit the standard that I mentioned in my first reply that has been in for about 10 yrs or so, whereas women/girls seem to be more open but add a “hear me out” instead of just plain saying they think the man in question is attractive
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/25 07:15 PM

I don’t know if this is new but it is true the existence of social media in the past 10 years specifically has definitely put a strain on our ability to see pretty as more than one specific look, face and body
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/25 07:13 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
