Your mistake was saying anything to the cops. Hire an attorney NOW. Delete this post too.

This is an easy problem to fix: meet more girls.

Don't say online dating isn't an option because of your size. There are women out there who prefer larger men, just like there are guys who prefer larger women.

My mantra is "the pain of rejection is always less than the pain of regret".

I fully agree. "The Game" changed my life for the better, I'm hoping to find a book which can help him. I realize in the end he is the one who has to want to make a change.

The only person who doesn't want you to approach is you. Man up, get out of your comfort zone, and try it. You may fail, many times in fact, but eventually it will work. Always remember "the pain of rejection is always less than the pain of regret".

Have you considered making eye contact, smiling, and then talking to women?

Ice skating. Especially if either of you is not a very good skater.

So you managed to get her naked in bed with you without having kissed her? I'm impressed.

Absolutely. How to Win Friends and Influence People is a great book which discusses this at length. I should have recommended it to the OP in my first response.

Talk to everyone you meet. Have interesting hobbies. Get phone numbers from everyone. Call people inviting them do to an activity with you. Don't wait for an invitation. Create interest in yourself.

Good for you. Please tell us more, this post is pretty useless as it stands.

I've brought girlfriends over and they are certainly welcomed, they just stay in the guest bedroom.

It's the parent's house, their rules, and he's not paying rent. If I were living with my parents the rule would be the same.

I'd be interested, depending on date and whether I could make the drive into Houston then.

Stay local. One great first date activity which worked well for me since I struggle with kino was ice skating.

Since I've started riding a motorcyle I've noticed this too. I suffer from AA and initially being the first to wave at another motorcyclist was difficult. Now it's a piece of cake and has helped me when I'm out too.

For those of us (such as myself) who are new to Seddit, what was the problem with his method?

I'm not a huge fiction fan either. Newspapers are good, but I think reading a book, including non-fiction is better. Newspapers give you a good overview of a situation, but a book can truly delve into it.

"What books have you read recently?" If the answer is "I don't read" or something similar, odds are there won't be a second date from me.

...but blew it up like a rookie: "You're smart and cute, I think I like you". After uttering the last word of the sentence I realized the terrible mistake I had made. What is the terrible mistake?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
