You broke up a week ago, it is natural to be upset right now. You just have to accept it and don't contact her. She might have looked fine but I'm sure she is thinking about you a lot too, and if you don't contact her she is going to wonder what you're up to/who you're with. In terms of getting over her, remember the bad times/things she did that annoyed you and get angry over them. And remember you had a life before her you will have one after her. 4 years ago you didn't know this girl existed,…

We all make mistakes, you just have to learn from them and make sure not to repeat them. A movie/play is usually a bad idea for a first date as you are both sat in silence for hours.

Moving on is a change of tactic. Keep hanging out with her but if you go on a few dates with other people and make sure she knows, then if she does feel some kinda way about you she'll start acting weird about it

Tell her to have fun and maybe imply that you are too. Either she is trying to shit test you, or she is trying to hint she doesn't want anything serious or an LTR with you. The best thing to do is act like you don't care

Ghost her. It sounds like you have been very clingy and you've seen her a lot, as you say you took her out a couple of times after formal but that that was only 3 days before the last text? Just go home, enjoy seeing your friends and family, talk to and date other girls etc and then if she hits you up, you're good to go, if she doesn't, there are plenty more girls out there

A great tip for dealing with anxiety- Ask yourself, will overthinking and worrying about it change anything? If you can't change anything by worrying about it, why worry at all? Sounds very basic but that simple process helped me out massively. Also, it seems quite a basic problem with her, she most likely got bored as you revealed so much. Just ignore her, try and go on some more dates, maybe she'll hit you up at some point once you start ignoring her, or maybe she won't.

I would personally not text her until Friday, just confirming plans/meeting time for your date. In my experience it isn't necessary to text a girl constantly, especially if you have already set a date up

Shit tests about me being too attractive for her. Showed low self-esteem and there is nothing less attractive than that

I was in the exact same position about 4 years ago with regards to the fear of rejection, unless I was 1000% sure a girl liked me I wouldn't make a move. The thing that changed my attitude was that I was moving away for university in about 4 months, so any rejections I faced wouldn't be too bad as I wouldn't see those girls soon anyway, but nonetheless would still have a few months with them (I lived in a very small town) First girl I tried it with did like me back and ended up being my gf of 3 …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
