everyone has a price to walk away from their work, yours happens to be a little higher because you enjoy your job. you do you, boo, but respect the hustle. money is the closest thing to a superpower we have in this world. with enough of it, you can accomplish anything. there is an infinite number of interesting experiences out there; if you can't afford it, how do you know if you'll like it? reaching for the top isn't blue pill, but dropping out of the game is some MGTOW shit. imagine being reti…

People keep saying Ghostbusters flopped. It might have been a shitty movie but it grossed $300 million on a $30 million budget. I think the studio is fine with that.

imagine that a group of 5-year old children are having a pretend tea party. one of them becomes upset that some of the other kids never bring their own stuffed animals to contribute to the party, they just show up and play with everyone else's toys. you are that child. you are too young to realize that while the situation seems unfair to you, the actual cost to yourself is insignificantly small and the benefits are great. in exchange for a few dollars' worth of shitty bottom shelf alcohol, you g…

a more recent example is this amy winehouse song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOl_gRgFSK4 "Why'd you always put me in control? All I need is for my man to live up to his role" "I'm not gonna meet your mother anytime I just wanna grip your body over mine" etc etc. of course, when girls listen to these lyrics they're likely to interpret it as 'strong independent woman who knows what she wants!'

i'd take these results with a grain of salt. there's a giant confound of difference in pose among the photos, as well as exposed arms. the women could well be responding to the guy's biceps instead of his facial expression.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
