What you just described sounds to me like depression. That lack of energy, lack of caring about anything is signs of it (does it take great effort to start your day/even bother to get out of bed? That's a part of it too). I'd seriously consider getting therapy so you can start enjoying life again. Like Liberaloccident said, it's more than just getting some random drugs and being less loopy again. Consider getting through problems like this to be like traveling through a forest. Well the psychiat…

One of their other posts: fine you were right i was wrong I'm sick of reading the fucking hate male. ............. I was commenting on the biological differences in men and women. Women have more physical consequence to rape, in my opinion. Because of possibility of pregnancy. But whatever you are all right I'm wrong for fucks sake stop filling up my inbox. Yes I'm such a coward for posting controversial posts instead of stupid fucking circle-jerk posts that usually get the upvotes. A good discu…

Hrm they deleted their post. But from the sounds of the replies I'm reading I'm guessing that he/she posted a pile of crazy. I was going to argue that women have the extra fun add-on of possibly getting pregnant if they get raped, which men in theory wouldn't have to deal with. However if a man gets raped and ends up knocking up the girl I can see this man getting doubly-fucked (no pun intended) and having to pay for child support for some child that they had zero intentions of ever having if al…

I never said that any of those things are ok. Good job on the wrong assumption.

Thanks for proving my point. I want to support guys who have taken advantage of by the system. However there is still room for feminism in other places. i.e. When my first day of class for stats in a room full of men includes an example about raping women and how it's all a laugh, and all 40 men there are laughing while the 3 girls sit there horrified, it is a bit upsetting. When you are in a discipline that is dominated by people who hail from places where they take their religion seriously and…

She was a bit ignorant... I love the articles that get submitted here for the most part. However quite a few of the comments are a bit outrageous. i.e. calling feminism a cesspool/etc. is a bit upsetting when I see parts of my life that could use some feminism interference.

There is a difference between defending yourself, and giving tips on how to beat someone without leaving evidence. i.e. kick someone in the upper thigh disables their legs so you can escape. This would help you defend yourself and was something taught in self defense class.

you kept dating a woman who stabbed you in the neck? holy shit. I hope your relationships since have been a lot better. I still can't even wrap my mind around how this could ever have happened... just...holy shit...

Regardless of this being a joke or not, it's insanely inappropriate.

Not to rain on the "you have no hope, everything you do will be skewed to look back in one way or another" party, but maybe it's about time the complaining stopped and the ACTUALLY DOING something began. If this is the way it actually is, there has got to be ways to prove that 1) she is crazy 2) Being crazy != fit to have full custody. A small victory, is still a victory. Is the father in contact with the kids at all? Are the kids being filled with lies right now? How old are they? It might be a…

It's disturbing to me, however, that instead of discussing depression and suicidal thoughts in men after a major change in their lives, the first two comments here have been jokes at the expense of women. Is this really what this section is all about? Thank you for this, there are crazies/radicals/etc on both sides of the table. It's great when they are kept in check.

Wouldn't you be more likely to tour Universal Studios if there was a chance you would meet/see/get to take pictures of Scarlett Johansson, Brad Pitt or any other celebrity?

Do you have more recent examples? I know it's baffling but 2000 was almost 10 years ago now.

As a female, I have to say this is disgusting. You should treat your body, and any bodies dependent on it as well as you possibly can. I know I'm not ready for children. However I do know that when I do have a child I'm not letting anyone tell me what gender it is until I have the kid. Partly because my curiosity would probably get me more excited for the actual birth part. Mostly though because I want to instantly fall in love with whatever male/female/alien that comes out. I don't want to buil…
