I don't get why people need to tie their identity to the music they listen to. It's not like you're creating it yourself, you're just an observer. Musical taste means very little. I listen to music for a few reasons, it's fun, it elevates my mood or it matches my mood.

It's mostly pretty fake and really shallow. Lots of those guys didn't really struggle, weren't bigshot drug dealers. They rhyme words, often poorly. I still listen to a ton of rap but not for the lyrics or the message.

I used to think people actually wanted equality. I do, at least equal opportunity for anyone to find success. It really does seem like the world is a big power game to most people.

Truly an amazing invention that only one special mind could conjure. The world would be a mess, unorganized papers would litter the streets, we'd be begging for some genius to come along and save us. Who invented the hole punch anyway? Must have been Albert Einstein or some other prolific genius.

You're probably right. That blunt honesty only works if it forces you to take an honest look at yourself. If she just goes to her placating friends there won't be any honest introspection.

Well, you're not wrong. There's no way that doesn't hurt someones feelings but it's probably the best motivation to change. Sure she thinks you're an asshole but hopefully she wants to better herself because of it and uses her anger as motivation. My asshole friends are the best motivation there is. They're telling the truth, bluntly. Sure it hurts the ego but they probably wouldn't say anything if they didn't care. Sometimes being an asshole is the friendly thing to do.

I'm always happier when there's a woman around my age at work. It's not a sexual thing either, it's just a different dynamic and brightens my mood.

About your gta example. This is the tiniest of nitpicks but it slightly bothers me how you actually can't drive through every bush. Most of them you can, but then there's the bushes that are indestructible pillars of the gods that will stop you dead in your tracks. Totally off topic and I'm enjoying these posts so far. :)

I guess if a small vocal minority were able to change a game that could be a problem. Like if you pander to that one small voice and turn off the overwhelming majority that's just not smart business. Also they're on the 7th Tekken now, there's a certain established flavour that you probably want to maintain. I used to play Tekken 1. 2 and tag when I was a kid and never really realized there weren't a lot of female characters. Nina was dominant if you were good with her, definitely saw a lot of N…

At first I thought you were taking about the generation coming up. All those comedians you listed are pushing 50 and they're all great. I agree that this is one of the best eras for comedy ever.

Yea they'd be taking about how he's a victim. Which he is/was and as far as I know he never victimized anyone. Still wrong to say gay kids could benefit from a relationship with a grown man though.

Funny thing is Milo was a victim of a catholic priest. I haven't read too much into it because it disgusts me but from what I can tell he was a victim, he didn't mess with kids himself. But he did say it's good for young gay kids to have an older mentor, which is wrong and really indefensible.

My views haven't really changed it's just that most progressive people kept "progressing" until they became something ugly and in my opinion somewhat hateful. I really don't think there's less opportunity for women or minorities today, in fact it's probably easier to get hired or to get into school and find grants. There are laws to protect people from discrimination, if an employer breaks those laws you can easily sue them. It's great that things progressed but it went too far. Like if you say …

I've always been for equal opportunity for everyone. In recent years I've thought racial and gender inequality were exaggerated and the left was taking things a little too far. I'm also not a fan of illegal immigration, it has nothing to do with race, doesn't matter where you're from. I'm more concerned with inequality and oppression in countries abroad, where people are killed for their sexual orientation and women are legitimately oppressed.

The first time I saw that movie I was a teenager and my parents just divorced. My mom basically had a midlife crisis and selfishly destroyed our family. That movie really hit me at the time. Hoffmans character is a real fucking man. His wife ditched their family and he did what he had to do for his boy. I don't really take much else from that movie. The mom was unstable and ruined a perfectly good family situation, the dad kept it together for his son. It's a good example on how to be a man/fath…

You sound pretty cocky but honesty man I think it's awesome that you believe in yourself like that. Just don't ever rest on your laurels. If you're that talented you still need to outwork everyone else. So many wasted talents out there that didn't put in the work. Believe in yourself, let the people that hate fuel you to worker harder than everyone else.

I'm not saying this because I hate women, but I agree she is not funny. She has pretty damn good writers for her show, which isn't a great show. Any movie she does I highly doubt she actually writes. Even as far as standup goes, you'd never know if she actually writes her own jokes. But just hearing her banter on shows like O&A, she's as funny as an average person.

I'm sure the death threats happen sometimes but some of these women fabricate it. The one that I know probably does. She's in my family so I was legitimately concerned and searched her mentions on twitter and found NOTHING. Personally I've had my life threatened over pretty stupid shit online, I've never taken it seriously. I had an account that people wanted from me, had it for 10+ years. Wow this is depressing. Censor the internet? How about limit your exposure on the internet you whiny babies. People are harassing you online? Get your face and name off the internet, stupid. It's a great big sea of anonymous people and if you voice very strong and controversial opinions you have to expect some negativity will flood through. I personally know a feminist blogger/"artist" that complains about online harassment. Obviously it's wrong for people to send her death threats as she claims…

I'd love to live long enough to see that. A lot of women will become complete whores trying to compete with sex bots and other women will take a more traditional wife/mother role, something a 10/10 sex bot couldn't achieve.

Some people will never learn that. They suffer in some way and basically cry until it passes. Suffering is a part of life, you can't avoid it just learn how to deal with it and become stronger.

I disagree. I honestly hate having to deal with a woman's parents. I want her to like me, I don't want to work for her parents approval, she's not a child. Not to say I hate all women's parents or I want them to dislike me, but I don't want to be vetted by a woman's parents like I'm a teenager.

As long as there's some logic behind it I will trust my gut. I actually had friends/coworkers call me paranoid before because I suspected something based on a gut feeling and a couple little hints. My gut was right each time. I had a gut feeling about a guy stealing from my old job, as well as a couple very small clues and everyone brushed me off for weeks until he got busted. I used to think instinct meant nothing, but I was wrong. As long as you have something tangible to go along with it, it'…

Wow that's fucked up. Definitely not the same as the old "I'll show you mine, you show me yours" that a lot of us probably did as children. There's a stark difference, one is childhood curiosity and the other is manipulation and abuse. I had done the "I'll show you mine, you show me yours" as a little 4-5 year old, there was no touching, no manipulation, we both just wanted to know wtf was going on down there.

The reason you feel groggy the morning after smoking is that thc messed with your rem sleep. So it's probably better to smoke earlier in the day, but then you sacrifice productive hours. Also it lowers your testosterone. I fucking love weed but I haven't smoked in almost a year. I am not one of those guys that can smoke and go to work or whatever.. Totally agree, make it safe for all parties involved and take money from organized crime and turn it into tax dollars. Anyone here ever work nights? It sucks but somebody out there has to do it. I've seen a handful of guys that had no luck with women, were maybe even virgins. Nice guys and everything, smart, funny, not ugly, but single. Within months of actually making serious money as their careers kick off they got a girl. I can only think of one friend who failed to get women after buying a house but he's very short and timid.

I'm pretty sure the girl in the video met her boyfriend on a train. He took an empty seat next to her and got her number. Personally I think that's actually kinda worse since you're on a moving train, it's almost like she's stuck there. On the street she can just keep walking. Can't remember if it's the NYC girl or the one that dressed like a hooker in Detroit.

In the words of Gustavo Fring, "A man provides". That's not necessarily true, but if you only provide for yourself society might look at you in a negative light. It's just something that you have to deal with. I suggest stop caring what other people think, if you can't do that then you'll have to conform.

It's got to be the right female friend.. Guys understand how to be helpful and be a proper wingman. I tried going out with a female friend, we were just friends, she was in a ltr with a guy I respected and was also friends with. It was easier to meet girls when I went out with her, but she would clock block me even though we were nothing more than friends. Fun chick, enjoyed being friends with her but when she saw random girls warming up to me she would try to fuck it up, I'm assuming she didn't…

Exactly. It's similar to a religious person that doesn't really live as they should according to their idealogy. I've been friends with Christian and Muslim dudes that do drugs, have all kinda of premarital sex, but still identify as Muslim/Christian.

It's nature, they're wired to react that way. I've seen the sweetest most compassionate women become repulsed by men that display weakness. It depends on the situation I course, like if your mother dies I doubt many women would perceive you negatively for crying.

I don't think it would be very alpha to kick someone's ass over a drunken insult. It'd be more alpha to just dismiss the stupid insult, maybe respond back with something witty if you're quick enough. But in my eyes getting violent makes you look like a fucking unstable idiot. In some cases it'll make you look like a king, like if you're defending your girlfriend, but usually it just makes you look dumb and unstable.

I guarantee that girl was wearing things like tight jeans and a push-up bra, her boyfriend was inexperienced and probably expected her to look absolutely banging naked. What if her boyfriend stuffed his pants to make it look like he had a massive penis, then they get naked and she sees it's just an average one and she's visibly disappointed. That got me thinking. A gay man might actually get the message across pretty well, women might be more receptive to a gay man. The thing is, I don't think most gay guys would care because they don't have to deal with it quite as much since they're seriously involved with other males.

Blows my mind. I'm not a tall guy by any means, I'm like 5'9. But I don't care if women prefer taller men. I'd prefer it if they preferred exactly what I am, but they don't. I'm not going to cry about it or ask anyone to change. Same deal with chicks. If you don't have nice breasts or whatever, don't get mad at the world over it. If it's something you can't change you just have to live with it and complaining isn't doing anything, neither is making people feel bad for liking what they like.
