Yeah, but what I'm learning in life is that sometimes the best way to get ahead is to play along until you can afford to bend them over a barrel.

Yeah, you could have a point. I think it comes down to what works for you in the situation that you're in. I come from the good Ole boy club, and is just one of those things you do, and if you don't do it, then no one is going to like you, and won't work with you.

TRP is about bettering yourself, and I can see that alcohol can be a hindrance to that. With that being said, if you're looking at being sober as giving you an advantage in life, then you're barking up the wrong tree. So much of life in society revolves around alcohol and to an extent business interactions. The fact of the matter is that people do deals with people they like, and some people in the position to make deals like to drink, and you'll come off as a rube if you don't.

Yeah, for some reason I think those words are going to fall on deaf ears for OP. I like to booze, chase women, and never finished college. Doesn't matter though because I play MY game and since it's my game I'm pretty damn good at it. No one gives a shit about where you came from our how straight edge you are as long as you're not readily dispensable. So I'll continue to smoke, drink, eat pork, and womanize my way through life, while certain people wonder why they "live life right," but never ge…

You need to stop worrying about other people, and do the best for yourself. You're only going to get more bitter because sooner or later you're going to realize that some people can drink, do drugs, chase bitches, and STILL be successful. It's not up to you to decide who should be grateful and how they should handle their life decisions. Life isn't fair, and sometimes you can work your ass off and still get fucked. All you can do is make the most out of it and play the game.

I agree. Like I said, it want something that I set out to do, it just kind of happened, then I started realizing the changes. I've read conflicting reports. Some say its a change in dopamine, while others say that testosterone increases. I guess im more interested in the science behind than some anecdotal stories on the internet.

People should realize this is just the city. I might be just a little above average and have gotten "harassed" by fat black women. I've even had decent white girls dare to smile at me. The fucking humanity.

Happy road trip for another few hours/day or so till next big freak out Few hours? She could go from horny to "im going to kill you" before the road head was even over. It's almost as if her mind says "five minutes of this is enough to make up for that shit show, now lets get another shit show going."

I dated a girl that did all of that. Worst month of my life. I think the trap that a lot of guys fall in to is that they think they can be "RP enough" to manage it. Fucking forget about it. These traits go waaay beyond simple shit tests. It got to the point where she didn't even threaten to cut, she just did it. Her reaction to me wanting to watch football instead of watching hunger games for the 20th time was calmly walking to the kitchen, grabbing a knife and going to town. There was always a …

This isn't BB, its the pendulum swinging the other way after having a kid at 16 and doing porn for years. You can't even blame this on the hamster. There are plenty of examples of lots of people living fucked up lives and then doing a 180. How successful they are at maintaining their new lives is a different story though. They're both making mistakes. She's on a high from all the religious bullshit (which isn't unique to women,) and he has no fucking clue what he's in for.

They've actually done experiments like this. I believe I saw this in "The Science of Sex Appeal." It's pretty interesting. You can watch it on netflix.

I get the feeling you don't really know how hard it is to kick a tenant out; even if they haven't paid. Even in the deep south where the laws heavily favored the landlord, it took damn near an act of god to get a tenant to leave even after not paying for 2 months. Yes, nothing requires you to "let" me sign a new lease. This also depends on the demand. If there is a ton of demand, then yeah, you can raise my rent. If not, then I could always pack my shit and move someplace cheaper. It all comes d…

I'm not quite sure your logic is spot on there. I don't really want to get into details except to say that home ownership benefits some, and not others. Yes, I understand that I'm building 0 equity by renting, but I'm also taking 0 risk. Some people, like those who are extremely mobile, are better off putting their money in other investment vehicles than one that is tied to a geographic location. The bottom line is that owning a home isn't practical for everyone, and there are different roads to…

Yeah, because that's exactly how it works. In the ten years I've been renting in various locations my rent has never gone up. Also, whats the deal with assuming that because someone likes to be within walking distance to the night life that they're a liberal? This isn't fucking SF. People actually do business here.

Even if you leave the woman out of this, I still think its a joke to get sucked into buying a house as a primary residence. I could certainly pay a 1400/mo mortgage on my own, but around here that would put me out in the sticks. I would much rather split 3000/mo for my two bedroom high rise with a roommate that I never see, and walk to all the bars. On top of that, I'm not pressured to trade in the 2 seat sports car for a fucking suv, or getting nagged on about my bike. The fact of the matter is…

To be completely fair, one could say the same thing about this sub. For every worthwhile post here, there are two typical "I just graduated high school and went to my first frat party" bullshit. Good for you. You neg'd her and fucked her. I don't know exactly what phase of life I'm in, except I know that I'm done with partying. At the ripe old age of 28 I've had enough. After you play the game so many times it just gets old. I've had my priorities set for long enough that fucking some bimbo at t…

Step 1: Girl does something so fucked up that both men and women agree on it. Step 2: You must agree that having all these partners is terrible. Step 3: TV is a male dominated industry and women are just driven to copy what they see by a male dominated society. Step 4: It comes full circle to where you blame the media for supporting role models that a feminist tv host blames the media for.

Because you and OP are on here talking about it. The very act of talking about it shows that they are smarter than you are. It's all well and good to talk about the degradation of society, but I don't think the god damn tyra banks show is the place to pull your statistics from. This is a classic feminist tactic. Flip the argument around to something that looks like it's something that you support, then shame you into supporting it, then making you come up with a bullshit argument like that so th…

I think you have to keep in mind that this is made for TV. You could just as easily watch Jerry Springer and conclude that everyone from Arkansas fucks their cousins. I'm not saying that this doesn't happen, but you need a healthy dose of reality when media only shows the most extreme cases.

Yes, I can see thats already a problem. I was very confident that since she was older it would be just a one and done type thing. Even in the time since I wrote this post, she's talking like it's an ongoing relationship. Fuck.

Second divorce. The reason doesn't even matter. She told me, but I'm sure a psychiatrist wouldn't get a straight answer out of her, so I really don't care. In this case, the performance is all that matters. If you're only playing one night, then the one act is all that matters.

Definitely not. I'm moving across the country in a couple of weeks, which she knows. She's made comments about her paying to fly out and see me, but I'm banking on the fact that she'll lose interest.

I like the way you put that. I try to look at it like buying something at Neiman Marcus as opposed to a comparable product via Amazon Prime for half the cost and losing the fancy packaging.

That's a valid argument. I'm sure she got something out of it. The point is that I did also. To be completely honest if I had the opportunity ten years ago, I would have gone for it. But I didn't, and she hardly changed a bit. The way I see it, we both won.
