I'd say this is the best answer in the thread. There are plenty of women that want to do it for the social media and sex, but there are also plenty that do relief work or go to nowhere towns. Traveling for the right reasons can be a humbling experience and a reminder that the world doesn't revolve around you. Or it can be an excuse to party bunch and be basic.

Thanks! I've never posted to any TRP subs before but I read them all the time. I feel like I've poked my toes into water. My former step-brother joined the military to save himself. Was a total scumbag from 17-21, joined the Marines. Nobody thought he was gonna make it and now he's in MARSOC. Changed his life entirely.

Hey there, man. Sounds like you're in a pretty tough spot. All my life I've been depressed and lonely. All my life I've tried to change that... It hasn't worked. My cat was rundown last night on halloween. Further cementing my want for not being alive. No, dude, I don't think you tried. The meds and therapy only give you what you put into it, like most things in life. Let's be real, in the slumps of life's worst depressions nobody wants to do anything. People die. Animals die. You'll die someday…
