I never said you said powerful women. I’m illustrating how it’s foolhardy to generalize against any group. Feminists can choose whether they want to identify with the movement, but identifying with it doesn’t mean identifying with the misandrist feminists. Likewise, being a man doesn’t mean you’re a misogynist. Both are complex groups that aren’t identified or defined by the worse of its members.

Rationally speaking, not supporting r/MensRights doesn’t mean not supporting men’s rights. A sub can be different from what it was initially supposed to represent and can have an identity/atmosphere of its own

I’m gonna repost my comment: By the same argument, the most powerful men (ex. Donald Trump, Harvey Weinstein) are misogynistic and/or rapists. Do they cause real damage? Yes. Do they represent all men? No. The only two men’s-only domestic violence shelters in the U.S. were created by feminists. Yes, there are shitty feminists, but there are also genuinely good ones who care about men too, and shutting them all down means things for men and gender equality like these shelters never would have hap…
