I got 2 degrees out of it and really enjoyed what I learned...but that guy ain't wrong. For most of us, it's repeat back to professor his own words to receive the A.

As a former college student:. Your class sounds like no class I ever took. The "regurgitate and receive A" was precisely what my college experience was.

alimony makes me mad as hell. when people get married, it's like they found a company. they spend a couple decades working, building, growing the company. then shit happens and the people decide to separate. they've both poured 20 years of sweat into the company. in the buisness world, you'd either buy out one partner and keep the company, or split the company. that makes sense. we got $x in assets, you have full right to half of it. what makes NO sense is: you leave the company, so i keep payin…

i agree, but tell me that my proposition isn't way more sane than "paycheck for life from a guy that hates me"

if thats the case, perhaps we should redefine "alimony" to "retraining program" and instead of a paycheck for life from someone who hates you, make it a mandatory college education, paid for by the bitter ex spouse, for the stay at home parent.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
