Why extend it to unwilling men but not unwilling women? 2 reasons: a) a sexist one: Women are innocent, helpless and need to be protected by men, because, they are women b) Your reason, a practical one: they are weaker in combat and more useful away from battle. But as long as we could maintain at least a 1:100 male/female ratio, then the population can reconstitute itself very rapidly. This has already been proven in both world wars. Alright, so you're saying that women essentially are to be baby carriers until the war is over. A sacrifice on both sides, men have to sacrifice their lives, and for women, mandatory pregnancy.
