Women stayed in marriages longer in the last because they had fewer options. Couldn’t get certain jobs or could get fired for being pregnant, couldn’t get birth control or credit cards or mortgages without husband consent… women suffered greatly in those marriages. Oh and for the record I am very fiscally responsible and I dated men who made lots of money, some who had none, but what I didn’t want was someone who lied about what they had or didn’t have. I know right? Oh no white men get blamed for “everything” but still are the vast majority of roles in power in government, private sector etc 🙄

How do you know those people weren’t appointed based on merit? Did you balk when it was mostly white men in power? Did you argue then for more women?

Women are 50% of society - did you balk when it was mostly white men running things? This is the first time IN HISTORY the top four roles haven’t had a white male.
