During the agricultural era this was true. Not when we had Hunter-Gatherers and not now in the modern era. It WAS necessary. Back then.

Yeah it's mainly like one feminist and 10+ of her burner accounts when you engage in debate.

Until being a men's rights activist means being egalitarian rather than traditionalist (i.e. conservative) then I don't suspect there will be many.

Some of us, actually many of us, want lots and lots of sex partners. Completely random ones in fact that we've never met. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it, because we evolved to do that. The whole shame, repression, monogamy thing is the unnatural thing. It's okay to be natural if you aren't harming anybody. When society isn't mouthing to put shame and stigma on it, it's not harmful. When we educate ourselves on birth control and medicine, it's not harmful. Repression makes people into a…

I hear you but I know the feeling of wanting to not exist because I'm not sexually fulfilled. So yeah I speak from at least my own experience. I just realize, even if I did it in a final act of protest against how we think in society about keeping things like sex work illegal, it still wouldn't matter to people. Really, it's about control and the only way you'll all stop trying to control us is force or somehow finally being convinced but that's far less likely. Look at this guy? https://www.red…

Oh I've been in the community about 11 years, used to even have Paul Elam on my Facebook friend's list. I used to run numerous groups there as well, Anita Sarkeesan even published a rant against one. The fix for this is the Al Bundy technique called "No Ma'am". It was a 90s comedy trope but honestly, that's exactly what we have to do. Zero tolerance for misandry or misandrist policy in society. They keep their freedom, just not their freedom from consequences. Men need to be protected. "And I st…

/r/MensRights27/07/24 04:16 PM

Probably not, we live in a society where feminists who are hell-bent on painting the narrative that men SHOULD have their sexual needs repressed run the psychology departments. Who do you think authorizes the studies?

"But now I'm thinking, it's not gonna help men much. It even plays into women's hands:" Women aren't the enemy, the mainstream ideology is. Look at East Asia, the women will say it's nature for men to seek sex and sex work is ignored or legal in much of it. "* You make it sound like men are un-evolved beasts. If buying sex becomes mainstream, women will more easily see men as pigs, creeps, etc." We're about 20 years past when we should've stopped giving a damn. We need them to stop these meetup …

No. Plenty of adults are very hedonistic and open to all sort of partners without strings. You're calling swingers children just because they like sex?
/r/MensRights26/07/24 10:26 PM
2

But you misandrist feminists actually keep it illegal and you keep claiming women are forced when platforms like onlyfans prove they aren't. You've also managed to change the legal definition of rape over and over for 40+ years so really that's a problem.
/r/MensRights26/07/24 09:51 PM
1

Nobody asked you to misandrist.
/r/MensRights26/07/24 09:49 PM
2

Ah so you're a misandrist. Men pursue sex in nature, it's what we do. You're saying we HAVE to have emotional strings, you're the toxic one and clearly a misandristic feminist. Don't try to flip it, you are the one making additional demands even after consent.
/r/MensRights26/07/24 09:47 PM

Well, I think it's great that you live your way but I don't think that lifestyle of distracting with everything else should be mandatory. Yes, if you put food in front of hungry people they anguish for food. If it's never in front of them, they don't anguish as much for it in their hunger. My solution is decriminalized sex work, very loose laws on places like strip clubs and other paid ways men can pursue sex on their terms. My solution is ending the narratives that men are pigs, dehumanizing, c…

I don't think we need to expect more than sex from sex. It's sex. Do I? Sure. Do I have to in order to be a "decent human being"? According to you.
/r/MensRights26/07/24 05:08 PM

So you're advocating to end onlyfans because it plays on men's emotional needs but you're okay with full service? Okay well, I think that's a better system for men to be sure. We agree on what's important it would seem.

If masculinity is you telling us players and mongers that we need to keep it in our pants, then go get with your 1620s Puritan wife and live your traditional life without me. I'm a hedonist. If masculinity can't be notches in my bed post, the man show, Swedish bikini team, hooters, etc then I don't want masculinity. I'll put on a dress first. I guess, come to think of it, that some guys actually did that.
/r/MensRights26/07/24 03:42 PM
11

Just stay in your lane. If you don't want sex don't go for it, you have no idea what pain many of us go through being repressed. You have no effing idea and you never will. We don't want to be monks and just FYI look up Ikkyu.
/r/MensRights26/07/24 03:38 PM
2

I hear ya, 90% of the interactions I have in groups like these imply that those of us who are more sex driven are a problem. I see no difference in the outcome between these tradcon advocates and misandrist feminists. They both insist we keep it in our pants and want laws to force it that way. You couldn't imagine how that is unless you have that hungry beast within.
/r/MensRights26/07/24 03:36 PM

Thinking you're entitled to emotional intimacy when someone just wants sex is toxic. Get it right my guy.
/r/MensRights26/07/24 03:33 PM

Again when did anybody talk about virgins. If you're a virgin, that's your choice. You probably didn't have a big enough libido to at least save some money for a prostitute.
/r/MensRights26/07/24 03:32 PM
4

I'm absolutely advocating for profiting on men's sexual urges, not "loneliness", stop being a huge pussy and deal with being a loner. You're trying to paint men paying for sex and getting it immediately just because they have cash, entirely on their own terms, as victimhood. You sound like a feminist.
/r/MensRights26/07/24 03:30 PM
1

Sounds like a horrible marriage and an argument to be a hedonistic player. Not for some stoic bs about getting disciplined. You're missing out on life if sex is important to you. If it's not, then my point still stands that you have less libido. People with high libidos don't WANT to control it, because why? All this so called purpose for controlling it is copium at best.
/r/MensRights26/07/24 03:27 PM

Did I even say a thing about virginity?

We are sex hungry beasts and that's called nature.
/r/MensRights26/07/24 02:01 PM

Men don't have to care.
/r/MensRights26/07/24 01:59 PM

Feminists made up a whole lot of concepts on what consent is. It used to be no means no and the makeout portion was entirely on implied consent. We didn't look at a sex worker as an automatic victim. We didn't consider a player a predator. Feminism just rewrote the rules we all played by for thousands of years, particularly in the last 26 years or so starting with the UNC psychology professor who popularized "objectification" (sexualization).
/r/MensRights26/07/24 01:58 PM
16

It is a need though, if the lack of it drives a person to mental anguish (which it does), it's a need. It's going to slowly lead said person to their demise.
/r/MensRights26/07/24 01:55 PM
-7

Blah blah blah, you just don't have a sex drive and think we shouldn't either.
/r/MensRights26/07/24 01:51 PM
12

Yeah and they do it from a feminist lens. We COULD do it from a masculine lens like we did in the 80s and 90s. The man show, Swedish bikini team, etc. We used to "objectify" women because back then male sexuality wasn't repressed by feminist psychobabble. Don't confuse white knights with every high libido man. I don't care if sex working women benefit, that's a system that works for both of us. It's the ones in the gym with the camera who cause the problem and those who defend them.
/r/MensRights26/07/24 01:49 PM
2

I feel like I spent the last decade supporting men's rights but looking for someone else who would openly defend men's sexuality. Thank you. Men need sex, men need sex outlets, feminism is psychobabble. /fin

Western women are raised to hate male expressions of sexuality. They like masculinity only when it serves them. They are raised this way and Influenced from a very young age. It's not natural, it's how they're influenced.
/r/MensRights31/05/24 06:26 PM

Western women are infinitely shameful and disgusting at this point and so are the beta mongrels that growl at their heels at other men. It's just another attempt to argue for castrating men. Shame on them.

That's so true and I can't believe it's still the standard in our society.
/r/MensRights23/05/24 10:50 PM

So what do they want? Let me guess, a commitment. Men want that too these days, so bad. Because of this, those of us who are just sexual people can never be accepted or treated equal because we're always "sluts, fuckbois, coomers, perverts" and our legal system further tells us what we can and cannot do. Society punishes us if we fail out of line like saying we "objectify", "sexualize" or "dehumanize" if we're men especially. Why do we all need our own family? Why can't we just get used to commu…

Well, that's frustrating for sure man. At the end of the day we're being teased and I think we're tired of being teased while having no outlet provided. I don't think a return to traditionalism is the fix that a lot of men think it is now. That's just going to keep our collective nuts in their purses through strict monogamy and family frameworks. I'd just like to see us reject things like objectification which is apparently something a feminist psychology professor pushed in the late 90s that ju…

Why do people insist on trying to keep rubbing my nose in it when I offer a polite explanation or rebuttal? Dude, I gave you an olive branch rather than arguing. I read it, it sounded like you were implying that men are manipulated to be sexual and that we need to stop being manipulated to be sexual. I'm arguing that we are sexual and we should embrace that. Clearly I didn't read your full intent but judging by my ratio of likes to yours, I'm guessing most people got that same impression.

At this point, male sexuality is constantly under attack even by other men. If I've misread your point, good, just one more sensible person and I appreciate you for that.

Objectification doesn't exist, if we would just hold the line on ideas we'd be good. We could have the sex and we could tell the harpies to stuff it with the oBjEcTiFicAtIoN thing. Women weren't this incensed by men hitting on them until they were taught to be. This is nurture. There's nothing wrong with male sexuality, even extreme male sexuality. Your finger just needs to point at them, not our libidos.

I couldn't agree more, men these days are confusing me. I grew up hearing men warn me to never marry. They get cut off, they get cheated on, they lose everything, they lose their time to improve their life. I get wanting to pass on the bloodline too but I don't get this seemingly emasculated attitude about commitment now.

So you're saying a women's supremacist movement is the consequence of women owning bank accounts? Dictating sexuality to men, dictating how men can speak, feel or think? Dictating what men can look at? This is the consequence of women owning bank accounts? What's a child marriage to you? A 24 year old "because her brain didn't fully develop" or are you more worried about older men around 60 dating 30 year old women? You know, while we're being dictated to because you own bank accounts.

I don't know for sure about this one, but just be aware that feminists have entered positions strategically where they could be in charge of how studies are sampled, which studies are completed in the first place, the language of those studies, positions of authority, positions of education, in positions to change dictionary definitions (Lexicographers). Just be aware they have had their tendrils in every single thing, especially social science and psychology, for many decades. So what you see a…

No it's not related at all. Men and women often don't want relationships and just want sex. Long term non committed relationships aren't hookup culture. Not everyone wants monogamy.

Well, I'm becoming so bitter from this sub, other subs and TikTok at this point that I'm becoming an actual misogynist. I'm really trying to resist that but it's causing me a lot of distress because women and the feminist ideals they generally hold even when claiming not to be one, are so incredibly harmful and antithetical to everything I am as a hedonistic man. /r/MensRights10/05/24 12:08 AM

Men can be sexual and flirt with women, even if they're ugly. I know that's considered brutal SA by most of today's society thanks to feminism controlling literally 80% of everyone's mind.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 12:07 AM
1

Yep well, men can just want sex and be aromantic. We literally treat Aro as part of LGBTQ until a horny guy also says "I like sex and don't want to commit because I'm just not into companionship". I'm surely not the only one, sex work is a big industry because of men like me. It's just they're huge cowards who want to socially do performative shows of morality while quietly and secretly living their hedonistic life. Why, the heck, can't they just be honest?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 10:20 PM

Yes but what about the minority of men, assuming you're even correct about that? We need to consider the minority.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 10:14 PM

It's an accurate argument and also it's very likely more marriages and relationships in human history have resulted from a woman pretending to like a good provider.

So you're on medicine that killed your libido and you can't imagine why other men want sex. Just sex. Not a socially expected compulsory relationship. You just can't imagine why someone else might only want sex and absolutely nothing else. It's clearly not even just you on those meds. Maybe I just need to say "F it!" and chemically castrate myself too. If women won't accept a monger for a relationship, so what? They pushed us here and they should accept it. If they don't then consider the robots…

Decriminalize sex work and get used to that being your sex outlet. It pays these women who want men to provide for them while getting you what you need without the drama. The line of consent is clearly drawn. Trade what they want for what you want. Leave everyone else alone.

The problem is, the normalization of sexuality in non monogamous, open ways including objectification was always the logical progress from the 60s. However due to radical feminist ideals of the mid to late 70s as a reactionary movement to free love progress, they regressed us back to monogamous prudery by convincing women and men that women were dehumanized by male sexual expression. Here we are, a few steps away from a time when women are essentially forced back into traditional gender roles by…

Well yeah I agree. I'm firmly against street walking. I really don't think society should cater so much exclusively to families because millions of us aren't family oriented at all. That said, America probably will for the next century at least. However with proper zoning and small limitations like where it can be advertised or even engaged in, we'd be good. I don't think most people calling for full decriminalization are asking for that. They're asking for things like licensing to be kept out o…

I can only speak for myself. If sex work were fully decriminalized then aside from some of the very consensual sex related groups like kink communities that I partake in, or those who maybe threw themselves at me, I'd have absolutely no sex with the general public. Prostitution has been either ignored (for the John) or legal in Germany for centuries even before it was called Germany. Even the mustache man's regime had it in a form. How one views "Promiscuity" is subjective. I doubt in a society where people are bullied by systemic prudish ideals and group think that most who feel as I do will every admit it. To some of us, Promiscuity is a virue. Those of us who are sexually driven and aromantic or greyromantic. We don't need that commitment to enjoy sexual pleasure. We just want that sensuality. I love women but I recognize feminist ideals are the outcome of base primal female fears. I realize that feminist ideals are also about getting the cake, eating it, expecting it to still be there yet also expecting no calories from eating it. It's zero accountability for high expectations and no empathy for men. But I do love women, more than most. Yeah my solution is just not giving into feminist gender politics. It's like, Feminist: "that's objectification and dehumanizing us." Men: "Shut up heifer, we like boobs." That's what I mean, not going on strike. It's just meeting in the middle. Right now it's one sided af.

It's illegal. Blame society for calling women trafficking victims falsely if they decide to be sexworkers. Also no, women manipulate constantly. The entire dating game is manipulation. And not getting everything you want, like lifetime committed slavery from a man, really isn't fair or something you'll just get every time. Accept it and move on.

Yep free love ☮️✌️ If two people want to pair bond, that's perfectly acceptable. Branding literally everything down to looking at someone's butt "sexual assault" and claiming they'd choose being in the woods alone with grizzly bears than evil horny men is "problematic". Men are finally going to stop doormatting to feminism realizing they'll never be the good enough man. That's gonna end in a "No Ma'am" revolution. Women will get a sanity check on what level of social ass kissing they get and we'll reach a golden age of harmony between the genders. A world where we do what we were taught in preschool, to share and be fair.

Because as long as a woman's worth is her body count, if she's sexualized by a man, her worth is devalued. Meaning the pursuit of sexual partners by men is predatory and harmful to women in the existing ideology. Remove the notion that a woman becomes some worthless less than human slut then sex is no longer something she needs to guard from "predatory men". It's essentially declawing the very notion of sexualization.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 10:20 PM

It's not quietly considering someone of less value to your goals of a committed monogamous relationship that's the problem. They're garbage because they use their soapbox (social media especially) to bully women into submission. They use this shame language and impose their views. She literally used to swing, she met me at a kink party as a spanko bot…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 10:07 PM

You see and part of why I'm debating this is that the entire concept of objectification is based on this. If a woman is "sexualized" under our current ideology then her value is lost as a human and she's therefore "dehumanized". If we'd end slut shaming as it were then we'd end objectification because no demonstrable harm could come from only wanting sex. As of now, women just protect their humanity at all cost. The other reason is, body count suggests we all must be in committed relationships b…

/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 09:57 PM

People only "absolutely judge you for your lifestyle" because they're still living in the past. When they realize there's no value in keeping society's collective values 500 years in the past then they might not keep them there. Hence why I'm debating this, I'm informing you since apparently you guys think it's still the Year of our Lord 1524 and Tudors hold the British crown.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 09:55 PM

So men can be absolute human garbage and that's their right, sure. I guess that's another issue altogether as long as we as the greater society don't take "she belongs to the streets" as nearly unanimous but we largely do. We still think that if she's not suited for an agricultural era exchange for goats to a good suitor then she's a dirty shameful hoe. I mean excuse me if I expect any civilized behavior from people.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 09:52 PM

You learned it. You couldn't have just automatically felt that way unless you were just naturally afraid of sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 09:48 PM

Relationships aren't mandatory. People will treat a woman with a high body count as lesser for having a high body count even if she has no intention on settling down now. Go look at the comment threads on sites like YouTube for sex workers (like OF models for example).
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 09:47 PM

Okay if that's true then why does sexual objectification "dehumanize" a woman?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 09:45 PM

It may be a decision maker as to why people who are ignorant about STIs, or who have hangups won't pick a woman as their mate. My point is that, regardless of any of that it has nothing to do with a woman's human value. Committed relationships were once mandatory, they aren't in this era.

Sure. Have you ever lived in an actual commune? I have. Basically you are a makeshift family that takes care of each other. It's not cultish or evil to do this and it makes a lot more sense in this economy. As a group you share expenses, if you have a garden then you share the fruits and vegetables. Your question was loaded and I addressed it. You can't reduce women to sex, it's impossible. Even if that's all a man wants, the woman is still everything she was before. It's not wrong. You just use this narrative to trap men into commitments and provide for you, let's be real.

I'm gonna be real, men are supposed to be this way. If men aren't this way, something went wrong. I'm not saying literally anything with a pulse and no standards... but a really high sex drive... yeah. I think something in our diets or lifestyles raised a generation of men who behave like little old ladies. Kinda pitiful. You can literally watch the demand for sex from men drop year after year. Not sure if it's being raised with feminist nonsense in our ears or flamin' hot cheetos. It's somethin…

You're the one reducing women to sex. Just because I only want sex doesn't make your assertion of "dehumanizing" true. The one doing the dehumanizing is you because you choose to see it that horrible way.

/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/24 10:30 PM

Well that's a different argument in the first place. Sexual harassment and objectification are two separate things. I don't think pestering someone takes their consent if we're using the dictionary definition of the word. Consent means to agree to something, if someone pesters you it's not forcing any physical act. Still, that's not the topic, stay on topic.

I reject society's ignorance and attempt to convince them. It's called being an activist. I didn't ask for pity, I learned long ago that feminists project about empathy but have absolutely none. In some cases, it's true that objective truth exists, but not every case and this isn't one of them. In fact, I could argue that if there was an objective wrongdoing here it was society compelling men to value women more than just for what they want out of an exchange with them. If you use social force to make someone do something they don't want to do, what do we call that? Non-consensual control over other people's agency.

Me too.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/24 01:45 PM

I should take it a bit further and say that I agree that compelling others to do things they don't want to do is a consent issue and falls within the scope. However none of this applies to objectifying, i.e. sexualizing or only percieving others as an implement of sexual pleasure. It's a violation of consent, if compelling by force is a violation of consent... even social force... to force someone to view others in more robust ways than they choose.

Morality definitely is not objective in all cases. In the case of demonstrable eminent harm, like killing or stealing it's objective and society has to unanimously ban said activities to protect civilization. That's not true of almost anything else. Most morality is merely a matter of opinion, subjective.

That's what feminists attempt to brand the ideology as. Ultimately it's partly about rigging the system to absolve women of responsibility for their actions, getting them the best outcomes in dating/ marriage/ divorce... But yes, in some ways it defends female humanity from the tradcon notions that women are tradable for goats. It's both and it's hard for fair minded individuals to deal with as it's traditionalism.

To start with, no, we are not objects. The entire reason the object - subject distinction exists to recognise human agency, experience and intellect. Elements of us may be considered objects, say our fingers and toes, but we ourselves are not. We are though, we're animate and sentient objects. Even if linguistically that were a faux pas to say, we're still "a thing" of solid mass. The agency isn't being questioned when someone looks on another person with desire. When did we start to accept that…

I think what you're describing is a subjective sense of purpose. A highly sexual person may feel that embracing sexual and other sensual pleasure is the highest form of humanity and purpose. You may find it repulsive, like Plato did in his latter years after getting his fill most likely.

Nobody is owed acknowledgement of their wants and feelings. Especially when those are not advantageous and ask more than the other person can give. I'm on the fence about the photos, but people take photos without permission all the time. Nudity is a logical line to draw in the sand. Catcalling, although another subject, is just someone vocalizing intent. I think it's a greater harm to try to control people's speech like that. It would be one thing if they suggested harm, but …

Yeah it makes perfect sense that employment discrimination should be illegal based on sexual tropes. My point is, most people consider doctors to be people of the highest esteem but only want one thing from them. That's why this doesn't work. Feminism really isn't that, it's an ideology with a lot of nuance and while it's not all bad the sheer personhood of women isn't the focus.

You can't only be an object to jerk off to if you make your life more meaningful than that. At the end of the day, how a mate perceives you is far more their right than it is for you to control. As for harassment, repeated attempts to sway should be pushed back on should they be denied but the initial attempt should be fair game. Even so, I still think a conversation is fair as well... that's not the point of why I'm arguing this... I see these as adjacent but different issues.

It is seeing a person as intrinsically sexual, that the measure of a person’s worth is their sexual history and/or physical appearance. All else is secondary. So many feminists have called everything from art to acting "objectification". If That is just biology doing its thing. Then We must end the concept of objectification. It doesn't matter if someone isn't receptive to how another person perceives them.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/24 04:33 AM

Gazing at someone's body is hardly claiming it. Desiring it isn't claiming it. So in what way is it a threat? How is it harmful? The human species wouldn't exist to this day without desire and sex.

The thing that makes this very questionable as to how it relates to approaching women and asking for sex is that women by default are not advertising themselves for sexual services to men. First off, SWERFs often say women can't want to do sex work and therefore aren't consenting either even in that context. I'll take it further and disagree with feminist notions even more... consent only applies to sexuality in the context of physical interactions or anything where someone is requested to do so…

Hmm mononormativity again I see. Maybe they can be the good sexy _____ for the right people or lack thereof. Just whoever, no need to assume it's one partner in a monogamous setting. Then again I suppose that's a lot of this issue, don't even look hard unless you plan to ring it.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/24 04:23 AM

Actually this is a very good reply. It doesn't bother me, but by seeing sexual objectification as somehow dehumanizing women are putting themselves back in the place of being property. They only have value based on their sexual actions so therefore objectification is dehumanizing. But if you take that mindset away, sex is just fun and human nature. That's why I'm making this argument in the first place.

By this logic, never go to a doctor for treatment unless you're getting very intimate with your doctor's life. Imagine what you said in this context: Medical objectification doesn't mean that you see a person just as an object, but that you see a doctor only as a means to fulfill your medical needs. I'm disgusted that do many men want long term attachments. We had the man show in the 90s, we objectified women like real men. We even told other men never get married. Called them the ball and chain. Now men are either simps or want tradcon garbage. Who knows how many dates you'd get but the rules, messed with me. FWB are a great arrangement, if she's willing maybe for years and years. But why get serious? Get bros, live in a frat kinda house and just share. You'll never be alone and just keep …

Some women love rough kinky sex. What ruins marriages is marriage. Monogamy isn't natural, very few people want to really do it they just prefer to sneak around and get hookups either physically or emotionally on the side. Sex gets cut off during marriage because people become bored with the same thing. End of story.

I'm gonna start by saying I can't tell which side of the fence you were on based on what you wrote. I'll just answer from my standpoint, a hedonist: I want the maximum pleasure in life. Enjoying the world's most pleasurable experiences possible for the human body needs no hangups. I don't need love, I don't need to know the person's name, I need the pleasure and release. I get defensive because most sex negative people who are secular are coming from years of religious trauma and restructured re…

I don't even remember. I used to send unsolicited pics all the time back in those days. Here's my unpopular opinion, men shouldn't send them but it also isn't that big of a deal if they do. It's the internet and we've all seen so much worse. The outrage isn't warranted.

I thought we were finally past all this with the laws and general constant complaining. I don't remember if it was solicited or not but I shared mine once 15 years ago and had a woman lose it trying to get me in bed. It was mostly because I'm uncut and she was into that. Let's see, I've had one of my friend's ex wives try to go for me just because they saw it on my computer.

Yeah but I've said this to many who say what you're saying. Unless you've lived and dated in Brasil and the US I don't think you have a firm basis for that assertion. Even if you did, you'd have to realize it's very subjective and anecdotal. I'm pointing out that it will make some improvements from a place of "that's my hypothesis based on observation". Partly because I was once a player and finally warmed up to using sex work myself. Once I did that, I didn't need to play. I know factually that…

Hmm, maybe it's a matter of also encouraging horny men to use the services and destigmatizing. Stigmas exist by choice, society needs to stop being stubborn. Not assumptions. I've lived the dating scene far more than most men. I'm average with flaws and I've gone years and years figuring this out. Women want the commitment and men gatekeep that while women gatekeep sex. Sex is a tool for them to get what they want, commitment is a tool for men to get what they want. The answer is to allow men what they want thereby ending the game for many. Not all. Some people want this kind of madness and many are brainwashed to think paid sex will be less fulfilli…

But the problem is, without data you can't quantify the assertion that there are AS MANY by percentage. Much like I cannot quantify original hypothesis. Common sense just suggests some percentage should be fulfilled by paying and not participate in the sum of men being "fuckboys" as it were in the dating pool. I'll die on this hill. A percentage of men will stop trying to play women in the first place if we just decriminalize sex work FULLY. On the flip side we also have to consider that it's a huge win for women to have the right to consent on the terms of money and to profit off of these horny men... i.e. something tangible is actually gained.

Okay so you started fine by providing your objection to the debate... lovely... the rest was adhom. To address your counter point: "That means that men do not 'play' or seek to manipulate women in countries where sex work is legal." I clearly said it would cause some percentage of these men to pay instead of manipulate. The reason we'd need a source of statistical data to counter that is because it's based on an assertion of statistics but also logic. The logic is that it must reduce the prevale…

Women often complain that they have bad dating experiences because men only want sex. Women complain they have bad experiences with dating because men pretend to commit to them trying to get sex when they've clearly said they want commitment and not a hookup or friend with benefits. In countries without decriminalized sex work, the ONLY way a man can have sex is without paying for it... legally. Logic dictates it has to though. You're claiming it changed nothing, bringing another claim into the discussion based on your perspective in Europe. However with no tangible evidence that the experiment failed there. Here's the thing, the study doesn't exist. You can be mad about that if you want but you have no way to back up your statement and you haven't even quantified what you think would make dating better. From what perspective? Whose perspective?

I've never even harmed anybody with my cum. I've heard it's even nutritious. You have risks in every activity in life. Just walking around outside, you never know what could happen. Yeah but from which side of the coin is it a clown show? If men can pay, why manipulate women on dating websites out of thirst? I mean if they're just mean and want to break hearts or just HAVE to have that one specific woman I guess. There, logically, would still have to be some guys who wouldn't feel the need to manipulate women into unwanted non-committal sex. They could just pay to play. How isn't my logic working is what I need to know.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/24 09:46 PM
1

I guess you're right. So we have no reason to believe each other on data. That said logic doesn't allow me to believe that women would still be played by tons of horny guys if they could just pay for it.

It's sexism.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/24 09:41 PM

I'm just saying something that's a universal truth. If ANYBODY has a core urge or biological imperative they'll find whatever means they need to. It's better to redirect that energy into something mutually beneficial.

I've met guys that made women gush on themselves but they still couldn't just get it right when they wanted it without strings. If that guy really wanted it right then, he'd have to pay. That's all I'm saying.

Yeah from the point you said idk you lost me. You don't stop people's needs by just saying stop. If the guys can't find a way then they'll get it somehow. Chant that men aren't entitled to sex all you want but they'll get it somehow because they simply must.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/24 08:20 PM

I absolutely do not trust you when you say that it doesn't change a damn thing on the dating market. You would have to run a very thorough study at a minimum to conclude: How often are you as a woman seeking commitment manipulated by a player into an unwanted sexual encounter? United States v. Netherlands. Bring us that study, those statistical results and I'll believe you. Otherwise you cannot prove its the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/24 08:04 PM

Not all men who play want to manipulate for just that thrill.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/24 08:00 PM

How does it not though? If it's fixing a problem that wastes her time and puts her through undue heartache then what exactly is it doing?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/24 07:57 PM
1

People want what they want is my point. If she's a perfect 10, then her selling the service is probably the only way the average or ugly guy will ever have any chance. That's my point. Also can you explain to me, a guy over 40, when and why did we start using "weird" do describe any sex positive take a man ever has that suits male needs in any measurable way?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/24 07:55 PM
0

Regardless of why, it's disgraceful to have to masturbate and sad that we don't allow women to consent for money if they wish. Historically they've wanted to since the beginning of time.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/24 07:52 PM

Okay and you aren't a woman who has had to deal with hundreds of men trying to get meaningless sex when you're trying to commit. Baseless.

-2

Got a source?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/24 07:48 PM

No absolutely illogical solution. Criminalizing customers only oppresses half and is rooted in sexism. Further it puts sex workers in danger because they can't screen. They can't work either effectively still criminalizing them.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/24 07:47 PM
2

Not remotely true.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/24 07:46 PM
1

Not entirely but follow my logic. If Bob is horny, wants only sex but no commitment but Angie wants commitment and gets frustrated that Bob and the other guys keep just getting to have sex with her and leave... Bob should be able to pay instead of manipulate.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/24 07:45 PM
1

Then how do you solve players? If someone just wants sex they'll manipulate to get it. If they can pay, that saves the heartache.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/24 07:44 PM
1

Totally agree, nor can it be eradicated.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/24 07:43 PM
1

Ah yes, your religious dogma is preventing you. You can have a family and sex work can be decriminalized. You shouldn't try to settle down with people who don't want to settle down anyway. Why are you wanting to control whether they can sell sexual services? If they don't want commitment, they're wrong for your goal of a commitment.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/24 07:42 PM
0

Do you live in Europe? Are you a woman who regularly gets played for sex? Or are you just saying that without quantifying it.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/24 07:40 PM
2

It will work for some. I can't speak for all but they create a cycle of in group bias focusing on stereotypes about why they can't get what they want. In the case of a lot of incels they're mad they can't force a woman who doesn't want them to want them. I bet if the guys willing to just get sex but who can't were able to though, the incel community would be cut in half because they are looking for answers there and getting sympathetic messaging there.

Actually STDs aren't incredibly common when people are careful that's a huge misconception. Also your entire argument exists based on purity culture ideals that a woman's value has anything to do with body count or sex. It objectively does not and those ideas belong in the centuries they came from or were sadly revived in (1600s and late 1800s). No, the demonizing language you are using is false. Well usually it's regulation that causes the costs to rise. For example special licensing for brothels in Nevada make it expensive. I'm not sure where you get that it's difficult to get in SE Asia or Latin America. Poverty in general is the issue in those countries.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/24 07:28 PM
1

Maybe minor regulation like routine STD testing but honestly even if they come up positive they should just have to notify customers. Some people already have diseases so they'd just mess with their own or those willing to take the risk. Otherwise I don't get the need for regulation. Tax, yes. Maybe zoning otherwise to keep it off of major public streets and in private. Just be careful when regulating that's all I'm saying.

I think divorces happen for a lot of reasons. In fact, I'm pretty sure the urge to just have a different sex partner is at least half of the cases but they'll never admit that was the reason.

Why, with automation already taking out entire industries and with robotics rapidly following suit, is our reproduction rate a bad thing? Who is going to feed, shelter and otherwise support the 8-10 billion people we hope to sustain in a time when human labor is rarely needed even for healthcare? We are, in my opinion, fortunate about the decline in our reproduction. Demographic replacement isn't the answer. Robotics will fix these labor gaps including nursing the aging. Plus with all these peop…

Yes, most women want a provider or protector. In their youth the provider of strong genes for their offspring and protection more. When they're older it's about being provided for more than anything. This is why I'm a sex work advocate. It's just cutting out the BS for both sides. The direct trade of what men want (to simulate reproduction and passing his genetic material) and what women want (provision). Even under communism in the USSR they couldn't fully ban sex work. /r/PurplePillDebate17/02/24 03:47 PM

Not denying that. If you're not attractive she won't take a seat on the joystick. It doesn't matter how much you bond, that is, aside from a few rare scenarios that require way too much investment for negligible return. My points aren't moot, but there's a bit of complexity here. I've seen plenty a Chad try for weeks to get one bite on dating sites only to get nothing. If said Chad played it cool and offered to date without in any way telegraphing he wanted sex, sure.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/24 10:08 PM

Reading the room, here's what I'm able to get out of all of this: Women face a ton of social stigma and have other inherent barriers to have sex with a man. So for a man to get that, despite her sexual urges, he has to overcome her barriers and give her a sense of security. This usually comes in the form of some sort of commitment rather than a hookup. If I'm understanding right, this is more of a "why aren't more women just hooking up for sex if they're as horny as men?" question. I'd argue the…

This is why women should approach men. The ball is in their court and they call the shots when it comes to sexuality and whether or not they'd accept a man approaching them. Men hitting on women is generally regarded as a nuisance unless the guy was born sexier than Adonis, clearly has money or fits into some kink category. Even then, none of those guarantee a majority of receptive women. It's still more likely those guys would be regarded as creeps.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/24 04:24 PM
2

Well, here's my issue, for those of us who are autistic or just awkward, why can't women just come to us? Honestly is it that hard when you have literally NOTHING to lose and everything to gain? I mean do they even realize we "socially inept" guys are like mad scientists in the sack? They're missing out tbh. 🤣🤣🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/24 02:42 PM

Interesting. This might be true but I'm starting to believe the absolute best way is to "date" and let them cheat or dump them if they're clingy. You're never playing long term commitment, you just never say that.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/24 02:02 AM
1

Yes, 7-8% of men get hookup sex and since they're the only ones getting it so they have the majority of STDs. When new women also come of age and hook up with those guys, they have a pool of men to choose from where most have a disease to spread. Fortunately all can be either managed or cured. It's more of a stigma issue in society that we're even making a big deal about this. With better medical access in society and less stigma, this wouldn't be a problem.

If you take anything from this discussion: Women require something in trade for sex. The only guys that ever just get hookups with no strings are in the very top percentile or match a fetish said woman happens to have. Fully decriminalized sex work, and accepting that you always pay for "no strings" sex is necessary in society for men who are into women to be fulfilled. It's also critical for the type of women who are seeking to capitalize off of those male biological imperatives. Nothing wrong …

Why wouldn't they? If they can give it up that easily you'd think it's not the first time they've given it up easily. Besides I've had plenty of female friends admit that OP is full of it. Heck I got passed like a peace pipe myself with some of these women saying things like "have you tried him yet"?

It doesn't matter. If they made society think that they were lying about their body count because the real numbers were high in an anonymous survey then they'd be found out. Those surveys aren't evidence for or against. If anything it just suggests there's a concerted effort to pretend they don't have a lot of hookups. Gee, I wonder why. In fact, there's a fair chance OP is a woman or is trying to protect the reputation of women with this very debate. Edit: I can't figure OP out actually. Guessi…

They do lie. They absolutely 💯 do lie on those surveys and it's because society compelled them to.

I've literally watched guys that are top 5% in height and looks pull regular threesome with women they met just out at a store. I've seen a friend of mine go through just about every halfway attractive woman we both knew. Nice gaslighting but objectively false. Truth be told, women aren't a monolith and neither are men. However a lot more women will sleep around without ever admitting it than people realize. Here's my hot take, that's perfectly acceptable and does nothing to their inherent value…

I don't think I can add to what other men have said here. It's in women's best interest to reverse some of the social restrictions that have been placed on men when they attempt to express interest in public. That said, why don't more women approach men? What's the worst that will happen? They'll be turned down? At least men won't call them a creep to their face and act like they're a leper for trying. At least men won't even potentially film women and try to run them through the mud as sexual a…

But it's still sex work which is only different in the sense that bodies aren't clapping for money. Let's be real, someone is still paying another person for a sexual thrill and the outcome is essentially the same.

It's still sex work.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/24 08:40 PM

That's a fact. It's transactional for at least most people. If you think that date you're paying for isn't the transaction then you're naive. If she expects a provider or marries for money, it's transactional. That's damn near all dating and marriage.

You could really push the hypothetical extremes of what is or isn't consent but if they consent they consent. I'm for UBI because I don't want anybody to absolutely have to do things they don't want to do. We don't clock into work for fun every morning. It's a universal truth that we're exploited by economic hardship unless we're just really lucky.

I'm very much for it. You just have to convince people to FULLY decriminalize the world's oldest profession. Dude other primates even have transactional sex, it's as natural as consuming food or drinking water. It's these hangups people have about it that's unnatural. If it harms none, in an imminent way and I don't mean hypothetically, it should be permitted. Women and people in general on reddit at least pretend to be some of the most obnoxious, self righteous, short attention span having folks alive. I really am okay with them not liking me. I'm not trying to stick my dick in that kind of crazy.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/24 03:43 AM

Keep your judgemental, self righteous opinions to yourself. It's not hard buddy. That's what needs to stop being normalized. Being moral policing busybodies.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/24 03:09 AM

What don't you understand? I want to normalize people staying out of other people's relationships who aren't in those relationships. It doesn't matter if you found out. Normalize cheating? It's not my business. If they cheat, they cheat. It's them, not me, not my spouse. And yes of course expect it because MOST people absolutely do cheat at some point.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/24 12:49 AM
1

Forced morality in private relationships shouldn't be a thing though. Regardless of whether you are for monogamy or not, it's still their private life. It's not about whether cheating should be treated as bad to "tHiNk oF tHe cHiLdReN", it's about whether or not it's their business in the first place or anybody else's. If it leaks that someone cheated, oh well. And it's not the end of the world, someone else's relationship ends or has turmoil. You're still on about whether kids will see real lif…

Always the children isn't it? First off you don't have to teach your kids to get involved in other people's relationships. One could just as well argue that monogamous commitment is immoral and shouldn't be taught to children. Finally, I'll agree, it should take a village and that would mean an end to the pair bonding system. We all raise the kids, I'm for it.

Because bullying as a group is a form of control and you shouldn't do it. It's not your business, you act like it is. Don't pretend that you haven't collectively made morality legislation. By specifically focusing on punishing Johns under the utterly false notion that they are greatly spiking demand for human trafficking. Actually, the laws are doing that. Make it available everywhere and use law enforcement against the cartels, mobs or other groups actually trafficking we wouldn't be targeting men and male sexuality. We could actually solve the issue but that's not the concern as you've admitted already. Abolitionists don't care about women being forced into labor, they care abou…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/24 06:59 PM

Oh no it definitely isn't. In many places trafficking is incorrectly defined in law such as transporting a sex worker between state, national or provincial lines for entirely non sexual purposes. Sometimes it's a matter of them simply being sex workers who are migrants, see the New Zealand issue where that's their remaining major concern about their decriminalization efforts. Please don't gaslight about this. The policing and law enforcement standards in the US for example have made any sex work…

The screening process is prevented by the Nordic model which has statistically caused more of that violence. Also what kind of misandrist bs is this talking about men like a monolith as if we collectively just beat women? Come on.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/24 04:06 PM
-1

The answer is fully decriminalized sex work and getting rid of that absurd misandrist Nordic model.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/24 02:14 PM

Actually it's why a lot of us well endowed guys wear hammock underwear (although we do need the support) or grey sweats with no underwear. Even pleated dress slacks are a way to show off.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/24 02:13 PM
3

I'm of the opinion that what other people do in their sex lives, as long as it's between consenting adults, including infidelity or sleeping around, is their own business. I believe society, sticking its collective nose where it doesn't belong is the immoral thing here. Needs to stop entirely. Nobody has the right to control other people like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/24 01:17 AM

That was some verbal diarrhea and yeah we're unsympathetic toward women catching feels immediately. Better yet, attempting to manipulate men into lifelong jail, I mean commitment, that they don't want to be in via sex. See, men are systematically sex starved, teased and then guilted into "meaningful relationships" when a man is like a bee. A bee goes from flower to flower to flower.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/24 05:46 AM

Absolutely. The problem is, the average person is too intellectually lazy to go to WebMD and look into the very basic science of reproduction. Google is available to everyone aside from maybe a couple of countries and they still have most of that information on their search engines. To me, sex with a new person is the absolute best sensation a person can experience in their whole life. First off this urge to be a "Natalist" is actually far more base, primitive and apelike than realizing our senses have evolved and trying to use science and modern social infrastructure to have modern casual sexual relationships. Meaning in any statistically meaningful way HIV is 99.9% preventable even in the riskiest situations with people who are full blown AIDS infected. The bedrock of what society? These tradcon values had their last big comeback in the 1880s. You can always find ways to twist language and ideology to form purity culture and demonize sexuality as harmful. Always. I'd say 1 and 2 from your list. More sexual women and more of them to the ratio of men would basically solve the problem. It's already basically a gynocracy as even these concepts about traditionalism, banning sexual imagery, stoic men, etc. all come from a place of pandering to and/or overprotecting women as opposed to the pleasure and fulfillment of men.
