Velva Sheen, Reigning Champ, Norse Projects and 3sixteen in that order. 3sixteen is my personal favorite because I love heavyweight tees.

Neuw is the only denim I can wear as a lifter and they look really good with 6-10% stretch content. Much much better than Levi's or AE flex.

For shoes, I like the Nike Air Max 90 2.0 and Adidas Tubular Shadow, both in all black. They look really good and they give you an extra inch or so in height. For boots, Oakstreet Bookmakers dainite trench in black or a cheaper version would be the Wolverine 1k Miles (I prefer the Evans over the regular ones).

That's great to hear. Did you figure out the root cause of your issue? Recent bloodwork reveals that I'm at the top of the range for free T and total T for my age group, but my libido has been suffering for the last year or so. My family physician thinks it's all psychological or due to depression. I am seeing my endo in a month so I'll ask him directly about it including bloodwork, maybe it's prolactin or progesterone related.

That's odd, are you working with an endo? I'm sure they'd investigate other things like prolactin.

The most direct correlation to libido is your free (unbound) testosterone. Get that checked and make the appropriate lifestyle changes to optimize it.

It's so easy to make 30%/mo in cryptocurrency. Just use elliott wave theory, fibonacci, and ichimoku clouds.

I would argue that Psychedelics are instrumental to personal development and growth in general.

I compete in powerlifting, it's a great thing to compete in because it's very objective. You either get stronger or you don't, strength doesn't give a fuck about any excuses and your life circumstances.

Full-body is the best for raw, drug free lifters. Your MPS only stays elevated for 12-24 hours when you're well trained so it makes no sense to have such a low frequency. Typically novices should start 3x full-body and then add a full body day as they become more advanced in their lifting career. I'm currently doing 6x week full body but I'm also a nationally competitive powerlifter.

The correct way of utilizing Myers Briggs/Jungian psychology is to use the cognitive function stacks in a hierarchy as opposed to the four letter dichotomy, which is merely pop psychology. For example, an INTJ's dominant function is Ni (introverted intuition), auxillary function is Te (extraverted thinking), Fi (introverted feeling) as tertiary and Se (extraverted sensing) as their inferior function. Ne, Fe, Si, Ti are their inferior functions which are less used and don't develop until their ma…

I know all about phenibut, I have been using it intermittently for a couple years now. Yeah, most benzos negatively alter sleep by reducing REM but phenibut actually increases slow wave sleep so it's beneficial, especially for lifting since it also releases GH. It's only addictive if you're an idiot and use it more than twice a week.

You can use it once a week if you want, instead of drinking. It feels like a cognitively sharp drunk and has some euphoria, plus you'll get great sleep that night unlike alcohol. It's a tool like any other and should not be used as a crutch. It also makes you horny as fuck like you wouldn't believe. It's an aphrodisiac and sex feels great on it for either gender.

This comment is full of ignorance, especially in regards to psychopharmacology. This is what the war on drugs has created, people who cannot think critically for themselves. It looks like Reagan's era had a drastic effect on you, namely indoctrination. First of all half the drugs you listed do not act on serotonin at all. Psychedelics don't release serotonin either like MDMA. Second of all, none of those drugs are nootropics. Semax is a an example of what a nootropic is - it's very well studied …

The simple answer as to why weights are superior is because they provide a greater overload and disrupt homeostasis far better. Progressive tension is king with strength and growth, there is no better way than with a barbell.

For squat: 2ct pause squat, pin squat (pins set at max depth), 600 tempo squat (meaning 6 sec eccentric, no pause and normal concentric) For bench: 2-3ct pause bench, pin press (pins sets a hair above chest), feet up bench For deadlift: 2ct pause deadlift (right off the floor or at knees depending on weakness), mid-shin block pulls, 2" deficit deadlift Those are the highest yield assistance movements in my experience and most high level lifters.

I personally don't like microdosing LSD because it amplifies my tiredness, but microdosing shrooms (in the form of 4-AcO-DMT) is great.

My E2 was 99 when I got it checked a couple years ago (Canadian units). I remember that it was in range. I'll have to look into private labs for free test, I really want to rule it out. For what it's worth, I supplemented a high dose of boron for 3 weeks (12mg) which has research showing that it raises free test and reduces SHBG/E2 after only a few days by a significant amount. I didn't notice too much, maybe slightly more energy and libido.

Great post, thanks for this. I have low free T3 which is the cause of so my energy and sleepy quality issues. I know this because my genetic testing shows that I have a polymorphism in the deiodinase gene responsible for converting T4 to T3, yet doctors don't want to prescribe T3. I finally found an endocrinologist that prescribed me T3 since he saw my genetic profile and blood level. The problem is that he started me at a baby dose of 5mcg, and due to demand I have to wait another 4 months to s…

Damn, I'm going through the same thing. I keep wishing I could go back in the past in first year uni (4 years ago) and pick the major that I would have loved (computer engineering instead of mechanical engineering) and also not gotten myself injured which is limiting the peak of my powerlifting career. Oh how I yearn to go back and not make those two mistakes...But it's futile. There is no going back, you can only move forward. It's much easier said than done though unfortunately.

As opposed to what? What proof can you provide that metabolic fatigue yields greater hypertrophy adaptations? If you think about it intuitively, it doesn't make any sense that limiting your total volume would get you bigger. Also, there are quite a bit more studies (10+) measuring the impact of rest periods on adaptations, this just happens to be the best one we have to date by far.
/r/askTRP20/02/17 12:14 AM

You are incorrect, go back read the study I just posted. Hypertrophy adaptations (size) are larger in the group that rests as needed without a constraint. This is because they are not limiting their total volume, which is the primary determinant of size gains. If you keep rest intervals low then you are surely limiting volume because you're accumulating metabolic fatigue. As you become more well trained, you need to do more volume over time to get bigger or stronger. Instead of doing a large chu…

I agree with most of this for TRP purposes minus the 60-90sec rest for compound movements, that's not a good idea at all. It will limit the total amount of volume you can do and thus hypertrophy adaptations. You should never sacrifice TV for the purpose of metabolic fatigue. Source: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26605807 Read this to understand the study: http://www.lookgreatnaked.com/blog/what-is-the-ideal-rest-interval-for-muscle-growth-implications-from-our-recent-study/ Also, frequency…

You don't piss away vitamin D, it's fat soluble. It depends on your genetic and skin color but anywhere from 2k-10k iu daily is taken based on your blood levels.

What vitamins do you take first thing in the morning? Some vitamins are fat soluble so they shouldn't be taken without a meal.

This is absolutely false. You can do full body 4-6 days/week and it in fact preferable as an advanced natural lifter because your muscle protein synthesis only stays elevated for 8-16 hours when you're really advanced. If you're taking steroids then you can get away with a lower frequency because your MPS stays elevated for much longer. The trick is that you need to properly periodize your training (this means undulating the volume and intensity on a daily, weekly and block by block basis). My d…

This is just...wrong. The literature does not show that there is a strong association between rep ranges and hypertrophy (see this properly sourced article: (http://strengtheory.com/hypertrophy-range-fact-fiction/). Hypertrophy is not all about TuT, that plays a very small role. The greatest contributor to hypertrophy is TV (total volume), i.e. sets x reps x weight. Obviously if you do more reps then there is greater TV if sets are equal, but this is black and white thinking that doesn't work in…
